  1. I would say Morricone. He's almost 90 years old. But it seems he has held back the pace of his career
  2. That depends on the point of view. The first films I watched between the two franchises was "The Phantom Menace" back in the 2000s. The trauma was great and I stayed away from SW for many years. I also never watched an MI movie, but the theme played on RADIO. So I venture to say that perhaps the THEME of MI is more popular than the theme of SW. SW is also outclassed by the theme of 007. But the three are extremely popular.
  3. James Horner has earrings and a blue scarf Giacchino a panama hat, eccentric suits and glasses with colored frames Elfman has glasses with orange lenses and whenever he can dresses himself as if he were a character from Tim Burton Zimmer always wears the joker's jacket Williams always wears sweaters with turtlenecks Desplat has that exquisitely combed hair and a french scarf each one has his way of drawing attention
  4. Lolita Ritmanis wrote a "fanfare" for the Justice League as well. And made some animated Batman's movies. I like the theme created by her.
  5. Princess Mononoke (1997) There some demons and gods. I like it.

    .

Well, I need better headphones to listen to the two, mine are crap.
  7. According to the wiki, the events of Maul's death episode "Twin Suns" take place two years before the battle of Yavin. http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Timeline_of_canon_media Clearly it is our mistake to assume that Luke is a child in Rebels. Leia, his twin sister, is already grown up and plays a part in the show too. Here the only glimpse we had of Luke.
  8. They leave the impression that he was cut in half again... in the opposite direction. Go to 1:45.
  9. The story goes on how long before ANH? Maul was killed by Obi Wan (again) in Rebels cartoon when Luke was just a child, literally.
  10. Deleted comment. Nothing relevant or offensive has been said here just loose words without foundation.
  11. Rogue One score also has a cover illustrated with characters. Hey! Williams has like 6 covers (ep. I - VI) of these!
  12. Only Ennio Morricone manages to capture this italian-global sense of backwoods and "people looking for fights" like no one else.
  13. 1. The Nightmare Before Christmas (Elfman) 2. Sclinder's List (Williams) 3. Jurassic Park (Williams) 4. Batman: The Phantom Mask (Walker) 5. Free Willy (Poledouris)
  14. Infinity War - Alan Silvestri: Too much drama, especially at the beginning. Ready Player One - Alan Silvestri: Many exotic moments. Orca - Ennio Morricone: Melancholic and elegant. One classic. I love the theme for the Orca, a gesture of Morricone's sensitivity to that murderess.
  15. At least Silvestri used fewer variations of the Avengers' theme than Christophe Beck in Antman. As I listened to the score I could not help but think that Beck really got excited about the theme he created.
  16. The complaints were more about the sound of the synthesizers being very dated. Very 80's.
  17. Ships are things for teenagers! I do not have the ability to save all these "codes". So far she's still "no one."
  18. 1 Star Wars: A New Hope 2 Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back 3 Raiders of The Lost Ark 4 Superman: The Movie 5 Home Alone 6 Indiana Jones: The Last Crusade 7 Hook 8 Star Wars: Return of Jedi 9 Phantom Menace 10 Jurassic Park
  19. Before the performance there is the draft, the composition, the official orchestration and I really do not know anything, but it is a job that on average must occupy the hands of about 500 people. It's a lot of work!
  20. A very energic track. The world does not understand our ability to be interested in "movie music".
  21. I did not remember this monstrosity called "Magnificent Six". Do you say Lurie as an additional composer?
  22. Both are more John Powell. I believe all of those DreamWorks duo works involving him are. He even said in an interview that he never understood why he had never done a solo job for the studio until "How to Train Your Dragon". It took thirteen years for that.
