The music in the first party of this video. I feel it is a very famous classical theme/piece presented in a vocalized version which I am not able to place.
Anyone know what it is?
Confirmed or not?

Could there be an age difference of about 15 years? Rey could he his daughter, secretly secured because he was falling to the dark side, he may even didn't know it. In the books jacen solo has a daughter
This is impossible. There's at least 10 years between them.Since you mentioned the books...Spoiler"Bloodline", which I have not read, but I have seen some people arguing about it, says that Kylo Ren join the Dark Side and destroy the "academy" of Luke happens six years before of the events of TFA.Six years before TFA Han and Leia were still together, she was still a senator and the new rebellion didn't exist. -

I think that the songwriters should have been Mexican. There so many popular songs recycled and few new material.

"Track 6 contains "Is She With You?" from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice composed by Hans Zimmer, Robert Badami, Melissa Muik, Mark Andrew Wherry and Steve Mazzaro."
Thanks!
Imdb says that Badami and Muik are music and film editors.

I also know few. The Mexican, The Mask of Zorro, Coco, The 33, Frida, A Walk in the Clouds, The Legend of Zorro, On Stranger Tides and maybe even The Road to El Dorado are some of them.
Mr. and Mrs. Smith also fit? Argentina is a Spanish-speaking country just like Mexico.
Many things made by Morricone resemble a bit of the Spanish palette.

It's funny that Wonder Woman's theme is actually credited to 5 people. Junkie XL is not one of them.
Elfman, Zimmer, Toprak, Gregson-Williams and Mazzaro?

The cover is nice!

I skipped the songs, there are two or three versions throughout the album. My favorite track is this, it joins the main ideas of the score. I've never seen the movie, but I imagine in a church or an empty road because of the bells.

Danny Elfman has just let us know he has a scheduling conflict with this AMA - but hopefully he'll be able to do this AMA another day! I'll post about the updated date/time when I get confirmation of that.
Oops! Wrong information. The conversation was canceled. This message is at the top of the discussion.

Yeah. That's a bad idea. But I do not believe that those whining babies will have the audacity to face man.

This picture proves that if you work hard, eat right, exercise regularly, and by all means avoid manual labor at all costs, you will be live a long, productive life.
I will not deny that by looking at this photo and visiting Silvestri's Instagram (which I did not know existed) I thought the same thing. He looks healthy. All them.

He notes that when he worked on the 1996 Mission: Impossible film, he dropped in Lalo Schifrin’s iconic theme.
"It would’ve been crazy to exclude it. It doesn’t matter if it’s a decade old, or seventy years old," he says. "Give me a reboot of any old film and I can take the themes and use them in a way that feels fresh."
I always had doubts about who arranged the 1996 Mission Impossible theme. Elfman, the guys of the U2 or was it a collaboration between all of them?

A funny thing is that the temptracks are not as bad things as they mention. Perhaps those imposed by the filmmakers are bad because they are pointed by who do not fully understand the role of the composer (some understand). But it is easy to point in the work of those best known when they are repeating an idea of an old score or even giving a quick eye blink at another composer's work. I agree with everything they say, but it's funny. I say this because they vehemently claim they do not listen to temptracks.

I watched a little of the movie in the hospital waiting room and decided to visit it again.

A - Top 5 Steven Spielberg movies scored by John Williams:
1. E.T.
2. Raiders of the Lost Ark
3. Empire of the Sun
4. Jurassic Park
5. Jaws
B - Top 5 John Williams scores for Steven Spielberg films:
1. E.T.
2. Raiders of the Lost Ark
3. Hook
4. Schinder's List
5. Jurassic Park
Giving a little more attention to Wikipedia's records, I discovered that Spielberg was responsible for almost all the movies that populated theaters in the 80's and 90's. Even Transformers (2005).

Well, I referred to the 7 episodes. I particularly enjoyed of the music written for all the films, even if the 7th entry paled in front of the others.

Six, you mean. Because there's one that is reason enough not to believe in Williams.
At least Rey's theme is good.

Right, so we’re deeming music that we haven’t heard great just because it’s Williams?
I believe that the seven previous scores are reason enough to believe in Williams.

I say again -- Elfman is NOT on any social media, nor has he ever been. I've even heard him say as much in an interview (although I can't remember which one at the moment). Richard has also alluded to this in some of his Facebook posts.
I agreed with you, Thor. I've only tried in a humorous way to compare Elfman behavior to avoiding social media as an avowedly reserved actor like Christian Bale. Bale's account is also fake.
But I will not deny that I have always believed that this account belonged to Elfman.

Good orchestral scores by Williams? Did I miss something?
In a few weeks...
The Paper and The Last Jedi.
At least TLJ promises to be great.

I know I know. It's a criminal conclusion, but I've seen a lot of people thinking like that in the last few days.

The book makes it clear that Rey was not responsible for Luke's exile and that Kylo is a crybaby, but he still leaves the door open to that other possibilities are developed.
At the end of everything, Luke will look to Rey as if he never seen her in life and the rumor that she's his daughter is never going to will be confimed.
Or they will create another narrative away from everything that was established in TFA (as the interest of the First Order for her) to justify his paternity, something like "What If Luke lost the sight of a daughter in the past ?". But I doubt it. She really is "nobody".
