The prequel was formally announced in April 2023. The series will be written and executive-produced by Martin and Ira Parker. Ryan Condal, who currently serves as House of the Dragon‘s showrunner, and Vince Gerardis also will be EPs.

This is the first of the non-MCU Spider-Man (live action) movies that actually looks watchable.

I think “A Time of Quiet Between Storms” is very similar to the music from the last trailer. Really cool to hear the Atreides theme in this form.

The first one sounds like Bladerunner somehow.

If it's really Mangold who directs 'Dawn of the Jedi,' it completely bursts my bubble. It will be a film made by a pretty basic straight guy, for basic straight guys*, without any magic or poetry. I mean, you understand... It will be raw and violent... and forgettable. I dreamed of something better for this period of the Star Wars Universe that interests me a lot.

* This is my way of contrasting directing styles like those of Lucas or Spielberg, who yes, are straight, but who have a sensitivity that can also be feminine and childlike. Mangold is I think incapable of that.

It’s the only SW movie I’ve never seen multiple times, right behind Last Jedi which I saw twice. I’m sure the acting was fine, but the plot was nonsensical. Music was great though.

The Rise of Skywalker is my second favorite Star Wars film behind Return of the Jedi if that tells anyone anything.
 
Love the score, though I don't know if I especially like it over the score for The Last Jedi--and by that I mean I think there's equal pros and cons to both.
 
The Force Awakens might STILL be my favorite of the sequel scores though. But I'm not a Star Wars hater. I love all the new Star Wars content that's coming out so I'll gladly contribute to Appreciation threads and enchantment threads.

This is Machine Games, the makers of the most recent Wolfenstein games, not Bethesda proper. I doubt Todd Howard will have much to do with it, especially if he's trying to right the ship of Starfield.

The first track was also released as a single a few days before the album, not sure if that's affected too. 
 
I made a post over in The Marvels thread about Voices of Aladna disappearing a while ago, glad to see I wasn't the only one who cared about it! Also saw a tweet about Voices of Aladna about a month ago saying she'd look into it, guessing that hasn't gone anywhere. I think it might have something to do with the lyrics/poetry her niece did for those cues, but totally just speculating.
 
Regarding What If S2... I'm hoping this is a sampler album of sorts, rather than the only thing we get. Really wanted to hear the Kahhori material outside of the episode.
