Fargo got a reaction from Leia Sees Ghosts in Michael Giacchino's JURASSIC WORLD: DOMINION (2022)
The first Jurassic World score is solid. There are a couple fantastic tracks in there that still make it in my current rotation.
Fallen Kingdom is utter crap though.

Fargo reacted to Lady Dimitrescu in The Rise of Skywalker SPOILERS ALLOWED discussion thread
I don't even consider the originals canon anymore. Only the prequels now.

Fargo reacted to Not Mr. Big in Williams' Sequel Trilogy vs Shore's Hobbit Trilogy vs Powell's Dragon trilogy - vote now!
ST = HTTYD >>>>>> Hobbits

Fargo got a reaction from Edmilson in Spielberg bowing out of Indy 5, James Mangold possibly taking over - Will John Williams score the movie?
While I agree with others that Powell would be a great choice, I'd also like to see it go to someone who has shown potential but has yet to be given the chance on a movie like this. Someone like Fernando Velazquez or Christopher Lennertz. Maybe even Andrew Lockington.

Fargo got a reaction from Bilbo in Hell yeah! Braveheart 25th anniversary re-release
Nah man, you’re thinking of HBO. Which we all know isn’t TV.

Fargo got a reaction from Smeltington in John Powell's How To Train Your Dragon (3): The Hidden World
The real FYC is the friends we made along the way.

Fargo got a reaction from Tydirium in John Powell's CALL OF THE WILD (2020)
I've listened to the score about 7 times through now - I feel comfortable saying I like it just as much as Powell's best scores - Dragon, Solo, etc. It really grew on me.

Now, for its twenty-fifth anniversary, the adventure of a lifetime returns to the big screen in a way you’ve never seen before.

Sorry this message board is only for posts related to Zimmer & Giacchino bashing. Anything else is automatically deleted.

Fargo got a reaction from Bofur01 in New Star Wars Movie in the Works With 'Sleight' Filmmaker
I don’t think they’re saying it’s a prequel to Episode IX. The “underworld of Exegol” comment seems like just a clever way to say it’s being kept secret and nobody knows.

Especially when you don't know how to do it.

Fargo reacted to Yavar Moradi in John Powell's CALL OF THE WILD (2020)
There's less of that than you might think. I'd give Age of the Dinosaurs a try sometime, if you're willing. There's a situation on the CD similar to Powell's X-Men: The Last Stand, where CD tracks run into each other and create longer continuous pieces of music (personally, I never like jumping into a track mid-music; it's very jarring...I'd just as soon they had long tracks).
Listening to the full Call of the Wild album on YouTube right now... and LOVING it.
Yavar

Fargo reacted to Jay in John Powell's CALL OF THE WILD (2020)
I just got done listening too. I liked it a lot! The first great score of 2020! The first great score of the 2020s! The best score of the year! The best score of the decade!

Fargo got a reaction from Nick Parker in Star Wars is better than everything
My wife has finally discovered that a PG rating in 1970/1980s movies is not the same as it is today. She doesn't let me watch Indiana Jones with my 4 year old anymore
If your kid does watch Star Wars and gets into it, I recommend read-along audio books in the series. We have an app called Hoopla where we can rent these out (logged in with a public library account I think) and my kid loves them. They are nice if you are worried about too much screen time - plus some even have Williams's original music playing in the background while the book is being read aloud.

Fuck you!

Fargo got a reaction from Quintus in The Aviator vs. The Return of the King - which is the better Shore score?
Yeah but he's also implying that the score for Batman v Superman isn't a great score, which is just bollocks.

Fargo reacted to Quintus in The Aviator vs. The Return of the King - which is the better Shore score?
Return of the King is the de facto choice here anyway given that it was the last of the great orchestral film scores. The final one of its type, marking the true end of the golden era of orchestral film music. Absolutely everything since has paled in comparison.

ROTK and it’s not even close.

The only musical thing I remember from The Aviator is the classical piece played during the flying-filming scene. I think it was Tchaikovsky.
Edit. nvm, it was Bach.
