    "If I remember"

Reading too much into those words, clearly it's TROY.

I don't like most of Goldsmith's music either. Star Trek music aside, I can point to The 'Burbs and that's about it.

I believe Braveheart is Horner's best score. Absolutely.

I have that stance because of the total overall package of film and music and how perfect they work together.

That to me makes it his best score.

Were the practice / tests video or stills ? Photoshop or some other form of compositing it for a still is obviously apples to the oranges of moving people in a video sequence is the only reason I ask.

Makes what we got in "What We Left Behind" the most beautiful of teases.

If they need content, they should HD-remaster DS9!

It wouldn't be a lot, just because the score was so chopped up.

Missing from the LLL set are:

21/2 Miles Down - Violin Tool Kit (slow, dreary violin backed by synth)
Wild Piano (for the submerged piano)
(Lo Pulse is just the thumping bass from the alternate ending to 2 1/2 Miles Down)
Fox News theme (source...does anyone miss this anyway?)
A Lucky Hand (this is from 'Heaven Help Us')
    Beacon (Michael Stearns)
Unable To Stay, Unwilling To Leave - New Ending (the Tony Hinnigan solo that closes the film before credits)
    Drone and Chord

Haven't watched much of it but listened to some of the audio channels and the music is incredibly discrete. There is no comparison to the theatrical's sound mix which doesn't come remotely close. You're hearing every strike of the snare, bells, you name it.

I hope this has the DS9 commercial bumpers and the main title mix from "The Way of The Warrior". Those are the last remaining variants of the title theme left unreleased.

Ironic, given Ryan George is Canadian. He's based out of Montreal.

He doesn't really ever say a movie is bad, he just points out leaps in logic, plot holes, etc that can be explained with "unclear!" or "because!"

I'm sorry but you're gonna have to get alllll the way off his back about it.

Yeah you better get off that thing.

Ryan George deconstructed Tenet. He didn't have to, but he put in the work.

I bet it was super difficult, barely convenient.

When it comes to Zimmer's TASM 2, I'd have swallowed all of it - the rap chanting voices, the dubstep, the relentlessness of the music always playing with a rhythm and rarely calming down....if Zimmer had just used Horner's melody for Spider-Man instead of that sound-alike Copland / Network News trumpet thing.

Keep everything else, but use the Horner theme, even if it's just the first 5 notes of it as a calling card like the 3 Zimmer did.

That's fair, however Zimmer's theme is so close to Horner's it's like he tried to sound like that without actually just using it. Like an imitation. That's what annoys me about Zimmer's theme the most. It's like Webb said "use James' theme, but don't use James' theme you get me?"

I think that film nails Spider-Man himself. Garfield is fire as Spider-Man. It's like they did him justice, perfected everything, but took a shit on everything else by either half-assing the rest (Electro), or just...what the hell was Dane DeHaan supposed to do with that turd of a character?

And then there's Gwen at the end. Her and Peter made a great pair and a great team and then she bumped her head. Time for the dog poop bags.
