The choirs, in addition to the themes related to Snoke, appear in the last quarters of the movie, in two very dramatic and intense action sequences - one related to , the other to I can't say that the load of emotions and beauty is as big as in "Anakin's Betrayal", I won't go that far, but it sounded big and effective. I just have to repeat that these are short fragments, lasting approximately 30-40 seconds. Whether and in what form they will be on the album, I have no idea.

I saw the movie today and the score is really great. And it's not about recycling old music because, apart from old themes, there's a lot of exciting new music, not just only two new themes. And even two scenes with choirs - short but very emotional and epic. Brilliant score. Williams did it again! Can't wait for the CD, hope to get it tomorrow. I wonder what he chose from this, since the film has about 130 minutes of music.

I agree, this is the best option. One note - the third CD contains an entirely new Vangelis album, composed by him, not "different artists with their interpretations". And it's a wonderful music, only occasionally referring to orgiinal Blade Runner score

Well, more than half have gone, but we have to include all the shops that ordered it for themselves. It's hard to say, but it’s possible that within days or weeks it will disappear. It’s always better to combine shopping and get several CD's in one order. Ordering on other continents is very expensive, so I usually order with a few friends from my country, film music fans, and then shipping costs are minimized. Of course not everyone has that possibility.

By the way, the first composer they offered a job in that movie was James Newton Howard. I asked him about it in Prague before it was announced that music would be written by John Powell. The reason that I so much want to have that Botanicus Theme on that edition is not just the fact that I’m want to put everything Williams composed and recorded in my CD collection (I’ll probably never achieve this goal ). I just fell in love with this music. It’s beautiful, majestic and has a mystery in it. And it's quite catchy!

I have both CD's: Denouement Records (2002) and the Pilfink Records (2013) and have to admit that I definitely prefer the latter. First of all, because the sound or of the Jouko Harjanne's trumpet is much more pleasant to the ear than Arturo Sandoval's, at least in this composition. It's a bit warmer, and less cracking (I'm not sure if that's the right word). But Denouement Records contains fantastic Essay for Strings and is therefore absolutely essential.

Because it seems to be a logical solution, at least to me. Besides, Mike Mattesino seemed open to the idea. This would have made a nice 2nd CD in itself and if they had done this in 2002 there would also have been the opportunity (and the space) to add both Walter Murphy's disco version (which MCA Records owns) and the music Williams recorded for the "E.T. Adventure" ride.

I listened today, first time in many months or even years, to the 20th anniversary edition and the 1982 OST. What a beautiful music! I prefer the album version, though, it is more condensed. Still love the expanded score. We live in beautiful times when such things are released. Contrary to the fears of many of you, I believe that Botanicus Theme will be included in this 35th Anniversary Remastered Edition. This is probably the only place suitable... Unless Keith Lockhart will record it on the second volume of Lights, Camera… Music! But it's unlikely. This will be my fourth E.T., and I couldn't be happier about that.

I hope it includes a fantastic Botanicus Theme Williams composed in 1991 specifically for the E.T. Adventure ride attraction. Actually, I can't imagine a complete E.T. without this.

I expect exactly what I got with Episode 7. Top quality. I will go to the cinema the same way as before, not even knowing one new cue (except for the fragment of The Jedi Steps from TV spot). In the case of Star Wars, I'm not interested in any leaks, reviews or impression until I see the movie, I'll go home and turn on the CD. This was not easy last time, because I got The Force Awakens CD three days before the movie premiere, and I was tempted to turn it on... But it was worth the wait!

On the left are the soundtracks by other composers. Generally speaking, I only have the CD's I want to have, but in the case of Williams and Goldsmith I try to be a completist.
