I bought the Disaster Collection as well as The Reivers. Also grabbed The Cowboys Deluxe on eBay.

Managed to find Home Alone 25th on eBay too a week or two back so I’ve still definitely not got all the expansions on my list but things are improving.

    Still need:

    Heidi/Jane Eyre
    The Sugarland Express
    Images
    (forgot) The Eiger Sanction
    Jaws 2
    Dracula
    The Fury
    1941
    Monsignor
    The River
    SpaceCamp
    Empire of the Sun
    Stanley & Iris/Pete ‘n Tillie
    Presumed Innocent
    Home Alone 2
    Harry Potter Collection
    Minority Report

Obviously there are others but they are less important. I’m here and there about whether I need Fiddler

I'm not sure how you'd fix this, since the Apple Music App is likely looking up based on the name, and all it has is the text.

Perhaps using Album Artist and Composer fields instead of Artist to denote JOHN WILLIAMS might produce a better match.

I'm using Apple Music (moved away from Windows, goodbye) myself, and I generally use Album Artist to denote Composer for a score, then set Composer for each track to reflect the composer.

The Artist usually reflects the orchestra and individual artists as appropriate.

Ah, I've been watching those for months.  I take it they're the free ones that were given out in the lobby after the show (and which had gone by the time my friend and I reached the exit).

Way too pricy for a purchase at the moment...

I'm excited for this release, as it was something of a 'blind test' for me regarding John Williams.

I had discovered him via Star Wars, as most do, and then of course quickly found out about Indiana Jones, Jaws, Superman, etc. But I still wasn't doing a good job of keeping track of him, so I'd randomly encounter his name on movies like Home Alone and be all, "Him again! He's even better than I thought!" 'The Patriot' was one of those movies, but I didn't see his credit until the final credits, and even thought during the movie, "The music is really good and the best part of this movie. I wonder who did it." Only to see- yup, it's John Williams again.

I've held off on getting the soundtrack in anticipation of a release like this, so this will be my first experience with the score by itself.

I've been listening to HP2 for a few days now and it's a much better score than I ever gave it credit for, I think. I just noticed the Chamber theme around the start of Meeting Tom Riddle, for instance. It's a really fine sequel score! Don't know why that just hit me today. Obviously the expanded presentation is absolutely necessary to appreciate that.

Dang, I picked up the 2010 one used at some point and thought I was sittin' pretty.  Now I'm playing out-of-print 2015 samples of "We Slept In" on the La La Land site and comparing them peevishly to the sound quality of my ripped 2010 MP3s.  The life of a JWFan...

Oh, well.  I can cheer up with this:

GlastoEls reacted to Chewy in Sony is re-issuing the Home Alone OST on October 23rd
So when I wrote that post one month ago, I only checked the first track of the album, which matches the 2015 LLL rebuilt OST. But after checking the full thing, I can say that MM master wasn't used for all tracks.

I don't know if the master that was pressed on those new CDs matches this TIDAL master, but here's what I've noticed:
    01 - Main Title ("Somewhere In My Memory") => 2015 LLL - D2T1 Home Alone Main Title ("Somewhere In My Memory") 02 - Holiday Flight => 1990 OST 03 - The House => 1990 OST 04 - Star of Bethlehem => 2015 LLL - D2T4 Star Of Bethlehem [Orchestral Version] 05 - Man of the House => 1990 OST 07 - Scammed By a Kindergartner => 1990 OST 09 - Follow That Kid => 1990 OST 10 - Making the Plane => 1990 OST 11 - O Holy Night => 2015 LLL - D1T17 O Holy Night [Film Version] 12 - Carol Of The Bells => 1990 OST 13 - Star Of Bethlehem => 2015 LLL D2T13 Star Of Bethlehem 14 - Setting The Trap => 1990 OST 15 - Somewhere In My Memory (Walking Home) => 2015 LLL D2T15 Somewhere In My Memory (Walking Home) 16 - The Attack On the House => 1990 OST 17 - Mom Returns And Finale => 2015 LLL D2T17 Mom Returns And Finale 19 - We Wish You A Merry Christmas / End Title => 2015 LLL D1T27 We Wish You A Merry Christmas / End Title [Film Version]
The most surprising thing here is that they used film versions for some tracks!

Thanks for that spot-on performance, Mr. Young, especially the nice additional intermission piece from Skull (didn't know about that) and the end credits rendition - more rousing in tempo and spirit than the original LSO film version, I felt.
