Sorry. But I am getting a little tired of these 90% always same concert programs on Deutsche Grammophon CDs. No matter how good the orchestras are.

That reminds me a little of the time when Pearl Jam were publishing tons of bootlegs of almost all their concerts.

Something like that is a great souvenir for those who were there. Or for people who don’t already own other concert recordings. But I already have enough. I am out for this.

That is why I am waiting still for the Milan and Vienna II. Vinyls :woop:

  2. Basically, I would say that Göransson deserves the award this year...

If we look at it as a kind of lifetime achievement award, or if we consider Williams' works between 1994 and 2024, and Göransson has already won an award and the musics of the other 3 nominees is not a masterpiece, then there is some chance. :woop:
By itself, I think it deserves a nomination/award because of Helena's Theme, which is much more present in the entire score than the Raiders march.

    Hi guys,

first time going to La Scala and wonder what is the dress code? Does it have to be black suit like on almost all glamour photographs all over the internet? :D Or may it be something less formal or at least bluish jacket? I’ve been in Berlin last year and it was quite casual.

    • The public is kindly requested to dress in keeping with the decorum of the Theatre, out of respect for the Theatre and for other viewers. People wearing shorts or sleeveless T-shirts will not be allowed inside the auditorium; in this case, tickets will not be reimbursed.
    • Umbrellas, hats, bags, cameras, audio/video recording devices and mobile phones must be deposited at the cloakrooms. We request that gentlemen leave overcoats in the cloakrooms. A cloakroom service is provided free of charge.

That was my impression as well, and I was prepared to pay. But the testing station didn't ask me for any payment. They gave me an English form to fill out with my identity and contact details, and that was all they needed from me. The station was inside the Sony Centre, which is just on the other side of the street from the Philharmonie.

    15 minutes

Then a quick test is also accepted by the berliner philharmonie, it was not clear to me.

How long is this test valid from sampling? 48 hrs? 78 hrs?

They let me in with a negative result from a rapid antigen test, done on the day of the concert (this is a requirement if you are taking the test option, rather than vaccine certificate) at one of the stations in Berlin. The test was actually free of charge, which was a pleasant surprise for me.

I think it's free only for German citizens, right?

How long did it take for the result?
