yes, i will continue tomorrow night (i will not be there the afternoon) ... and i hope youtube will fix this damn upload speed so i can upload more...i just found in my VHS collection 3 more williams boston pops show i think i just ripped a williams song (not a cover), but i don't know what it is. never heard of it, and as i don't speak german, i don't know the name of the song. i'm sure there is some german guys here, so i'll post a small clip of the german speaker telling the name of the song, so i can post the whole clip on youtube with the real name of the song.

i remember that pretty well, but i'm really not sure about the date. i'm born in 1974. i saw in theater empire strike back in 1980. but one day, my brother and i went in a library and he took a Vinyl (double album) of the Starwars Episode IV from Williams. as it was a renting, he copied me the album on a tape that i could listen on my audio tape player (i certainly was maybe 7 or 8 years old), and i couldn't Stop to play it. i have certainly played it hundred and hundred of times.it's really my first memory of williams music. but before starwars, i saw in theater the black hole, and during a long time, i thought that the black hole music was a score by john williams WHAT a mistake but the black hole is too one of my SF score ... and barry is one of my favorite composer too now (of course !! ).

hello, just to add my two cents ... i LOVE, yes, it's the right word, LOVE the end titles pop songs of menken works , most of them have been made by walter afanasieff (ex-mariah carey composer and arranger).... i think (please, don't send me bombs) that the pop version of Go the distance sung by michael bolton on Hercules is simply the Best pop song ever made .... for me , of course...keyboards by afanasieff, guitars by Mike landau, drums by john robinson, and the orchestra in the background !! WOW, i love both the composition (i love the orchestral version too of course) and the pop arrangement. that's, i'm afraid, my pop side. i love as well all these 90s keyboards we can listen in songs like colors of the wind (not arranged by afanasieff but Keith Thomas, a kind of david foster copy guy).in pocahontas too, the both Pop songs are terrific , and it's by far the best song that vanessa williams did.same keyboards sound can be listened on Aladdin end credits (a whole new world), beauty and the beast, hunback of notre dame , etc .... ok, now you can send the bombs

Bonsoir ... since the last ten years, JW gave a LOT of interview for a french magazine who is now out of print and not published anymore called DreamToDreams and who was the official james horner fan club in France. few years later , the magazine has been bought by a press company who renamed it as symphonia . now, both magazine don't exist anymore , unfortunatly.i still have all the JW interview in french somewhere ... bonne soirée !!
