As an Italian dude, I agree: fava beans and Chianti are perfect companions for a Matessino-based meal. One should be careful while cooking the CDs, though: you don't want any loose hub tooth scratching the roof of your mouth while you eat. Be sure to choose the right ingredients, too: I once grated some Steve Jablonsky on my pasta and it took a while for me to digest it.

I wasn’t a part of JWFan yet, unfortunately. But I remember when the HP Boxset was announced: boy was I hyped! -

Wish I was here when the JP Boxset was announced. I can only imagine the reactions! As for other JW releases, I was really confused when I saw the tracklist for Concord's Indy, so I hope to see a less randomly assembled collection pop up in the future. I'm not sure I remember what's missing from LLL's expanded Hook, but I must say, a complete SW collection would be insane: since I've never thoroughly listened to all the episodes' soundtracks, that would be something I'm more than willing to throw my wallet at. -
What Is The Last Score You Listened To? (older scores)

I'll give this a thought. What about great movies with terrible scores? Burwell, Shore, Desplat… the Twilight Saga sure got a lot of great composers. I forced myself to watch it, but could't go past the first half of the second one. I was bored out of my mind. -

I disliked the movie when I first saw it, but I was surprised to realize I actually liked the score. Can't help it. I guess I have a soft spot for its atmospheres. -

I'm listening (again) to the Twilight soundtrack by Carter Burwell and it's so good. Can't think of another crappy movie with such a great soundtrack. -
The whole opening is breathtaking, but this statement at 1:08… jeez. You can almost see the USCSS Nostromo gliding through space. Which brings me to: At 2:23. So sad and bleak. Perfect score for a perfect movie. And, since we're here: From 0:43 onwards. Those scattered high piano notes get me every time.

Minority Report (of course) and IT: Chapter Two by Benjamin Wallfisch. Not exactly a chill listen, and I guess one could despise Wallfisch's continuous use of loud booms, but I must say I like how the orchestra is sometimes "glitched" and blended with weird synths, drones and creepy noises, and I find the 27 Years theme really beautiful, so it was a nice surprise to hear it more than once in this score. Plus, emotionally speaking, the last three tracks really hit home, at least for me. -
I had the same feeling. I'm not sure I've ever seen a JW cue with an ellipsis in it. I actually don't even like using it when I write, to be fair. As a punctuation mark, it's used to convey tension (like the conveyor – or conveyer – belt conveys Tom Cruise), but to me it almost sounds childish, so I always thought that MR title was kinda weird. I'm trying my best not to use the word "cringy", 'cause I'm not 16 (unfortunately). Oh, well, here I am, nitpicking about nonsense while I wait for a JW release. I sure have missed being here
