Brando reacted to Bellosh in Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny (James Mangold, June 30 2023) - NO SPOILERS HERE
i would legit roll them up and stuff them in my back pocket....so it looked like it was 'work-related' but if anyone ever saw me, they would have known my position at the job did NOT require anything of that sort!
i'll never forget reading the indy concord set threads!! it was surreal to see OTHER people worrying about if we get the british relief cue.
lol well now we ALL DO IT!
lmao!!!

I have no problem with the aliens. I have a problem with it not being a good movie. If they had been able to make a movie about Indy finding 1950s style flying saucers that was as good as Raiders of the Lost Ark? How awesome would that have been?
The idea of that Star Wars thread existing in hard copy gives me the shakes.

KOTCS’s score is so so good. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: I have a feeling that when it gets remastered and expanded, more people on here will come to appreciate it. The recording session leak is awesome, but when we have about the same thing C&C, and in better quality, there’ll be more fans.

His workplace had to order reams and reams of replacement paper so he could get caught up on "Who's the Sexiest Celebrity These Days?" and "The Star Wars Disenchantment Thread?"
I do believe he had an unfair mindset advantage on "Describe Your Latest Bowel Movement With a Song Title"

Brando reacted to Holko in James Newton Howard's Peter Pan (2003) - Now available
Finally received it and listened 2 more times. I love the magic, the playfulness, the almost mythic grandeur it achieves at times. I love how woodwind-heavy it is! And even with my keenly attuned ears, so far I didn't notice any Fakeisms, maybe aside from a transition or performance edit or two what were done with a fadeout/fadein a tad too quick for my taste, but that's really nitpicking. Even the front cover kinda grew on me enough that I don't want to switch it.

Brando got a reaction from Gabriel Bezerra in Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny (Cannes Score reactions)
Also, John Williams has the unique ability to see a spaceship lifting off during the spotting session and go “yeah we’re gonna launch this sucker and it’s going to sound incredible” and then give us the glorious Departure. His track record for this special ability is amazing. And the best part is my favorite moment in the cue at 1:46 is looped in the film so you get to hear it twice🤌🤌

I'm just glad that when the saucer took it off they had Indy be the ONLY one in the shot to watch it take off.
Indy seeing a UFO take off is just another "notch" in his belt of things he's experiencied.
The saucer was the best part tbh. Wish we never saw the 'interdimensional beings" and just the saucer. Might have been more powerful.
When I first started to lurk here, I was so amazed about other people asking the same questions about cues. It was like finding this magical place you never knew existed.
I didn't have a smartphone at the time. So at my first job out of college I'd print out multiple threads at my works printer and would go take a shit while reading the forum on printed pages.
Amazing times.

The score to KOTCS is ultimately the reason why I'm on this forum.
I loved the Indy movies as a kid. They were my favorite thing ever. But went through that teenager thru college thru post college phase where I couldn't be bothered with anything I liked in my childhood (even though if brought up I would show appreciation)
When KOTCS was about to come out the Indy movies played on the USA channel for multiple weeks straight. One weekend I watched them all and I just re-fell in love with everything Indiana Jones. I blame John Williams.
I remember when the score came out I bought it and going to FYE (remember that store) and asking if they had the raiders of the lost ark score available. Little did I know when it came to scores...
Long story short here I am.
So I'm thankful for KOTCS in that regards.

Good advice. I could be giving myself hemorrhoids while trying to express the depths of my disenchantment.
