JW's intended end credit sequence is to segue from the opening cue he recorded into the first ~2 minutes of the Lost Boy Chase, into the timpani hit, into End Credits music.  It's a proper 6 minute end credit suite, he just didn't re-record those first 2 minutes of The Lost Boys Chase, they used the same recording they had already nailed down for the film sequence.  I cannot think of a good reason not to replicate JW's intentions on a proper expansion.

It's Spielberg who messed with his intentions by replacing the end of the end credits with a reprise of the ending of the same cue that just finished up the film itself - the same thing he just did two years earlier on Always.

It's nice to hear the clean ending of the End Credits opening via the boots/leaks of course (for me personally, hearing clean endings / openings are always a special little treat), but it's not the way JW ever intended it to be heard.  He intended that music to segue right into The Lost Boys Chase.

As for Exit Music, it certainly works well as its own track, and I like how we've gotten some fairly different takes of it between the leaks and boots and LLL CD, but it's still something he meant to be heard only as the end of the end credits sequence and not as its own track

Part of me hates that they did this... as you mentioned, Wu already explained why the dinosaurs look the way they do in JW1. Leaving the question of what DID they really look like sort of up to the viewer and current science. But, especially with the science of paleontology, the current suggestion of what a T-Rex looks like, for example, could drastically change in 10 years time... making the prologue of a supposed "real T-rex" become outdated. Take the Spinosaurus for example. Do you know how many times its look and character has changed over the years since Jurassic Park 3 came out? Look it up if curious. While you could argue, what does it matter... JP1 is already dated... but they already fixed that issue with that single line of dialogue in JW1. But now... there's no way one can ever explain away the inaccuracies that the Dominion prologue will, likely, eventually have because it is presented as "fact" in this case. It'll simply always be outdated (like the amazing Walking With Dinosaurs miniseries from 1999) instead of its own thing. What a weird course "dis-correction".

Otherwise, I think it looks great and love it.

I am kind of surprised! I assumed by this point the film was already in the can. Since originally it was meant to come out last June, and filming supposedly wrapped on schedule despite the pandemic. I guess they really were allowed to take advantage of the extra time.

Brando reacted to Taikomochi in The Force Awakens - Complete Score Breakdown & Chronological Order (Film Spoilers Allowed)
The Force Awakens has become my favorite Williams score since it’s release. I can’t think of any other score of his that is as passionate and thrilling throughout. Or as narratively satisfying, how Williams bookends the film with similar yet tonally different, full statements of Rey’s theme and makes his skilled development of the theme the backbone inbetween. Or how Williams adapts the rebel fanfare into a general motif for nostalgic excitement, then interweaves it with the force theme and Rey’s theme in the end credits. Or how the score balances classic Williams adventure with his late period affection for soft woodwind writing. Or that statement of Rey’s theme that opens the credits that chokes me up every time with its beauty. It’s almost impossible to believe a score with so much life and creativity was written by an octogenarian.

I might place scores like ET above TFA in their cumulative effect on the film (so much of TFA is barely audible…), but it’s nevertheless my favorite.

Google Lens told me it's a gentleman named John Calley, who lead a rather interesting life and career according to his Wikipedia...three marriages to Playboy cover girl Olga Schoberová, David Lean's ex Sandra, and Meg Tilly; various dalliances with the James Bond series; and a tenure as a Warner Bros executive during which he oversaw, among other things, Superman: The Movie.

This actually makes sense now. For some reason I always assumed he kept the tie just because it was there, not realizing he had to take off the suit and then put on the Indy gear and then finally attach the tie. This is a pretty cool little fact.

lol good catches. i hastily threw my list together at work.

precisely. but even the slight changes are nice

i remember reading a comment/post about the tie in The Last Crusade was just to impress his father.  after all these years i never came to that conclusion, i always thought it was another part of his attire.  makes so much sense though!

And the oddly casual t-shirt when talking to the government agents in KOCS (after the decontamination scene).

And technically the professor suit with bowtie is different to the gray jacket with red tie & light gray fedora during the college chase.

And the wedding suit for comparison:

But I take @Bellosh's general point that all 3 are interchangeable; just subtle variations on the same suit and colour scheme.

Also in Last Crusade, the professor suit is different to his suit in Venice.

I like how the costume becomes more casual/relaxed as each adventure unfolds (except KOCS of course, where he wears the exact same costume unchanged from the 38th minute until the final scene).

I keep praying for an album situation closer to “Force Awakens” (a great summary of the score with concert suites in relative chronological order) than “Crystal skull”( Not chronological, missing most action tracks, )
