I quite enjoy the instrumental version of the Madonna song without the vocal stem. That would have been a cool additional song to add to the LLL release. It would be really cool to have a release of instrumentals of all bond theme songs. But a playlist cold suffice. There are quite a few of those instrumentals out there, though not sure if all (of the films that have opening sequences with songs).

This wiki is informational: https://bladerunner.fandom.com/wiki/Versions_of_Blade_Runner And the old Blade Zone fan site is thorough too: https://media.bladezone.com/contents/film/workprint/

I wonder how this is this different from the 2011 BSX Records release? I bought that because the Workprint of Blade Runner contains music from this movie among others. The Blade Runner Workprint contains music from the movies Planet of the Apes (1968), Humanoids from the Deep (1980), Freud (1962), The Hand (1981), The Awakening (1980), and maybe more. There are a few score sections I have not identified yet. And original recodings from Vangelis' studio that has not been released, notably recordings of Asian traditional music. Edit: There is no official release of The Hand score by Horner, so that is my most anticipated. :-)

Kerry Condon was really good. Loved her in the HBO series Rome as well. -
Movies you should see but probably haven’t

One of my favorite films and one I can honestly say I have laughed out loud more than any other film. The humor is specific to the character scenarios. This is a Martin Scorsese film!! Also music by Howard Shore!!! -
I also love the thematic album for season one over the individual eps releases. Do we know if Bear even saw the episodes prior to scoring or if he based it off of a script/ concepts? Maybe he could not score to the beats of the show/characters this season. I haven't read anything about what he used for his compositions.

I also REALLY love the Private Collection with Jon Anderson. The track "Horizon" is outstanding.

This news has hit me surprisingly hard as well. In remembrance of him, I currently have Opera Sauvage on rotation. It's interesting with Vangelis. I collect his released albums on vinyl as well as CD, so I switch between the two formats and it's a joy to read the liner notes.

Is that footage available to view anywhere online? Seems like it is just available for those who purchase the new box set.

SPOILER TALK: NO TIME TO DIE (2021, Cary Fukunaga)

The score was mixed strangely for me as well. I watched at home via streaming. The Cuba Chase is where I noticed it the most. -

I find myself with the same mindset! I buy physical, yet increasingly so for films and albums that I cannot find for download or streaming. -

What's the best or your favourite David Bowie Album?
JibberJabberwocky replied to Brundlefly's topic in General Discussion
Labyrinth with Trevor Jones is quite good. Bowie had some good singles off that album like the "As the World Falls Down" single. Actually, Bowie had some great single releases. I love the three single releases he put out for "Everyone Says 'Hi'" off the Heathen album. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Everyone_Says_'Hi'
