  2. I also did. I don't remember everything from it.

But I do rememember really enjoying Ella Purnell & Walton Goggins, some of the action scenes and the finale set up some interesting stuff.

I might wait until all episodes are released to watch it though. Think it works best as a binge.

  3. It: Welcome To Derry S1 x Episode 8 (Slight spoilers)

I thought this was tremendous! Great finale to a fantastic season.

Every character got their time to shine with the standouts being Pennywise, Dick and the kids.

Bill Skarsgard as Pennywise is truly one of the best horror villain castings ever in my opinion. He was great in the 2 movies, but here he really gets to shine as Pennywise. He's scary, but also very funny. The stuff he does with his face and body is fantastic to watch. I loved him.

The lore of It itself is also explored in a great way, especially in the way they set up the next (2) season(s).

I wasn't to sure at the start of the season when Dick Halloran showed up here. Didn't think it was necessary for IT and The Shining to exist in the same world. But now at the end of the season I'm very happy about the choice. Dick's powers made for a new and therefor exiting challenge to Pennywise. And I loved the little tease about The Shining at the end.

The kids were all great. Marge & Ronnie are my favorites I think. They were both fantastic this episode. Will & Lilly are both also great charaters, but they got a little less to do, but thought they still made an impression.

But actually the one that made the biggest impact for the second episode in a row was Ritchie. What a character! His sacrifice last episode was incredibly heartbreaking, but the way they brough him back this episode was so beautiful. First helping the other four with putting the dagger in it's place and then putting his hand on the shoulders of his parents was great.

I also liked the way the season ended with Mrs. Kersh in Juniper Hill coming across Beverly, with her theme playing over the end credits.

Wallfisch's music this series has been very good. In the horror parts it's a tough listen, but I think that he really excells at the emotional and dramatic moments. His action music, choir work and the epilogue in the finale were the clear standout.

I'm really hoping they'll continue the story, because I really loved what they did with the characters, story and the history of It.

  4. Watched the first 2 episodes of the 2nd season of Percy Jackson, mostly to hear new music by McCreary and his team.

And wow did it not disappoint. There is a new arrangement over the end credits that is great and there is quite a bit of excellent and thrilling action music in the 2nd episode. The album is released next Friday. Looking forward to it and hoping it's on the larger side.

  5. The following scores are still elligible for an Oscar.

Titles like Hamnet & Wicmed: For Good are included.
