Again, I'm impressed with McCreary's skill for the way he produced the album. The episode cuts in and out of the battle a lot, which makes the music have short burst of action music and then goes to another scene.
Instead of weirdly cutting the music like it is in the episode, McCreary made sure there is a strong listening experience on album and I really appreciate it.

Show is fantastic, finale is a bit of a letdown in certain aspects.

Yeah, apologies.
The music that accompanies Disa's standoff with the other dwarfs plays chronologically after Trial By Abyss. But I don't know the exact timestamps anymore.

There is a small moment from Tempest of Bats that is seperate, but I don't have the exact timestamps right now.

It been about two years since I saw OPPENHEIMER, so my memory is a bit fuzzy. I think I've done too much LDS.
Ps, why would I want to see pictures of a naked Florence Pugh?
That's quite an achievement since it's only been out for just over a year.

Only Murders In The Building: Season 4 x Episode 5
This was such a funny episode!! How has Martin Short not won an Emmy?!?!?!? He is incredible!
This just again makes it clear that The Bear is at the wrong category at the Emmy's, because it's taking away awards to the actual comedies like this was.
I'm always amazed at how this show is able to balance comedy and drama so well. To have an episode that's this funny while also making us feel some real danger throughout is really well done.
I'm again at a point where I don't know who the killer could be. They keep making the mystery so damn interesting and they keep throwing these curveballs. Excellent stuff!

One of my favorite comedy/dramas from the 90's. Fantastic script and wonderful performance by Kevin Kline.
And James Newton Howard's score is one of my favorites of his. Just incredible!

The Substance
First two thirds were amazing, some of the best stuff I've seen this year.
But for me, the third act didn't work. I understand where the film was going, what it was doing and what it was trying to say, but I felt they went too far and therefor made it overpower the message of the film.
Demi Moore is exceptional though. The scenes of her getting ready for a date and later the cooking scene were her in absolute top form. The getting ready scene was probably my favorite part of the film. Just incredible! -
All 3 seasons have been bingedrops on release. It was never weekly.

Season 1 was fantastic!
Season 2 was brilliant! With some of the best episodes ever on tv.
Season 3 is really tough to get through. It's taking me more than 2 months now and I'm only halfway through. Something this season just doesn't work for me.

Watched the first episode.
I liked it, although I thought it was a bit slow. The opening was good, in the way it linked it to the events of The Batman. Then the whole episode felt a bit meandering to me.
The final 10 minutes were a lot better I thought and retroactively made the episode as a whole better.
It still amazes me that it's Colin Farrell. He truly is unrecognisable and is fantastic here.
Cristin Milioti was the other standout for me. Really strong presence and I liked the vibe of her character.
I'm a bit tired of Clancy Brown playing the same character over and over again though.
Giacchino's music was good. The opening minutes felt like it was tracked music from The Batman, but it could've been newly recorded. The episode is sparsely scored, in a good way. When the music comes in with the slashing strings it's really effective. Excited to hear what he does with the entire season.

I felt it also sounded very much like the scores for The Witchers tv series.

Agatha All Along x Episodes 1 & 2
I really enjoyed it!! The first part of episode 1 with Agatha being in a "Mare of Easttown" type story was really well done. The explanation of all of it being that now that Wanda is dead the spell Agatha was put under is sort of faultering and she has to find a way out.
The scene of her switching through all her WandaVision characters was really well done and the moment she breaks free and that big bombastic orchestral version of the Agatha All Along song played was fantastic.
And I was surprised Disney let them keep the scene after that of Agatha outside, but I was glad because it was very funny.
The recruitment of the witches in Ep. 2 were fun. Love the chemistry between Hunter & Joe Locke. The best part of episode 2 were the final 10 minutes with the chant and the entrance to the Witches' Road. I'm really loving the song and the whole sequence was just really well done.
The reason to at least watch these first 2 episodes, even if you're not sure about it, is for Kathryn Hahn. After being the MVP in WandaVision she somehow outdoes herself here. She is extremely funny, sexy, bitchy, confident and just an absolute blast to watch. My favorite bit of her was at the end of Ep. 2 when she shouted to the other witches "I don't have time for this. Just blast me, you BITCHES!!!". Fantastic.
Joe Locke, Aubrey Plaza & Patti Lupone are all also great. Debra Jo Rupp has some funny moments and I like how the rest of the Westview characters were used.
I'm looking forward to the rest of the series, because there are plenty of mysteries set up that should all be exciting to see unfold. To me so far, it's a perfect fun spooky series for this time of year.

Yes, they said that for the story that they wanted to tell they needed 2 films.

To my unexpected surprise "Eregion" is the end credits for Ep. 6.
Music inside the episode was fantastic again. Especially the final 3 cues!
And Bear was in the "Inside the Episode" featurette for Ep. 6.
Loved the insights about the orchestra tuning making it into the episode like Sauron is conducting it as his plan comes to fruition.
