  1. Despite how bad IE is, you're quite correct not to uninstall it. It is tied in with the operating system itself such that removing it can often cause problems for the whole computer.
  2. I'm doing it too. Here's my link if Koray gets enough. http://bit.ly/hs50D5
  3. My initial thought is that I don't like Anne Hathaway very much, and I can't at all see her filling that role. However, I thought the same thing about Heath Ledger. Nolan knows what he's doing.
  4. I've been a diehard Firefox fan for quite some time now. That said, I do really like Chrome too. The thing is, I am very tied in to Firefox. I like to tweak and customize everything to my own very exacting specifications, and Chrome is not quite as flexible in that area. Plus, Firefox Sync is fantastic for keeping my desktop Firefox in line with my Android Firefox. Again, chrome doesn't have anything that works that well yet. The only real downside to Firefox is that it is comparatively slower, but based on the betas, Firefox 4 will hugely improve that. Being a web editor, I do also use all th
  5. My bet is that Inception will win, but I'm quite pleased to see that the best score of the year is at least included in the nominees.
  6. The slow JP somehow reminds me of Giacchino's score for Lost.
  7. Crap. I just looked up what that means in other contexts...
  8. Thanks for the suggestions. Some great stuff here! I'm enjoying [the Kamen/Metallica collaboration] right now.
  9. My favorites from the year Inception The Voyage of the Dawn Treader* Tron Legacy Prince of Persia* Deathly Hallows Part I Toy Story 3 How to Train Your Dragon Shutter Island Alice in Wonderland Iron Man 2 The Last Airbender Overall, I'd say it was a pretty great movie year. *not all blockbusters
  10. What are you talking about? Elves are real.
  11. How about no film music for 40 days? No music at all would just be too complicated to pull off. My life is surrounded by music at every angle.
  12. I've never been a big fan of straight metal, but I've been gaining an interest in some symphonic metal and crossovers. Some examples I like are Rhapsody of Fire, the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Powerglove, and the FF Advent Children (movie) OST. Any other fans of this style here? Any more recommendations you can make for me to check out?
  13. A directory. In answer to the overall question, I'm not sure of a single sure-fire way to do what you're asking. If you send me the specifics, I can take a look at it and try to see if I can figure something out.
  14. Have a happy, obelisk-free Christmas! (Via my friends over at Probably Okay.)
  15. Sent. To save space in the thread, future requests should probably be sent to me via personal message. Thanks!
  16. I would place HTTYD above it, personally, but it's certainly one of the most enjoyable scores. Agreed.
  17. I archived all the MIDI files off of http://musicby.jw-music.net/ before it went down, so at least we haven't lost those. Let me know if anyone wants them.
  18. A belief does not make one intolerant. The refusal to acknowledge other beliefs makes one intolerant. One can acknowledge a belief and still disagree with it. You are refusing to acknowledge the belief that a certain lifestyle can be wrong. By definition, that makes you intolerant of that belief. No one is debating religion or politics. We are discussing logic and semantics.
  19. And one can be totally opposed to a lifestyle for moral reasons without being "utterly intolerant" of the people who disagree.
  20. Technically speaking, he didn't call you a bigot; he called you anti gay. The latter may not be true either, but there is a difference between the two.
  21. To do that would require entering a McDonald's or at least going through the drive through—neither one of which am I inclined to do.
  22. I've had Bojangles too. It was good food but way overpriced.
