  1. Just finished seeing it. It was a pretty good documentary. Only one mention of Williams though. About the enormous effect his music had for E.T.
  2. I've noticed that a few parts of the video game score seem slightly Elfman-esque. Some cues here and there are similar to ones heard in Batman and Spiderman.
  3. The Decepticon's theme is ok, but there are some much better tracks on the game's score.
  4. JW has two brothers. Donald and Jerry.
  5. Would I like Williams to return? Duh. Absolutely! Will he? I'd say probably not.
  6. Never heard of it. I guess I'll have to check it out then.
  7. Of the videogame you mean? Full score. Only problem is that the tracks are meant to loop in the game, so most don't come to a full end. But there are a couple really good tracks in it. PM me if anyone would like it.
  8. They are both pretty much perfect scores, but I prefer ESB a bit more.
  9. Lemme guess, you use Internet Explorer?
  10. March of the Villains is a fun piece, but I wouldn't count it among my favorites.
  11. Absolute favorite at the moment. Opinions can change of course. (Or JW could write something else that replaces current favorites)
  12. What's your favorite CD cover? (based only on the cover artwork itself, and not necessarily on the content of the CD) Here's mine.
  13. You can do it. Narrow it down to your top three. What are they? Mine would have to be Scherzo for Motorcycle and Orchestra, Buckbeak's Flight, and Duel of the Fates.
  14. Well, that one probably is pretty close to being true. I would pretty much agree there. But that doesn't mean I can't enjoy less complicated movies as well.
  15. Meh, whatever. I'm not one to let other's opinions affect my own.
  16. It was pretty good. But you can't expect ALL of any persons movies to be great. But Armageddon, The Rock, The Island, and Transformers were definitely awesome.
  17. Neither. He makes awesome movies, which some people think are dumb, because opinions differ.
  18. Having just seen the movie, I was pretty pleased with the score. It wasn't quite another Steamboy like I was hoping, but still pretty good. Mostly typical MV/RC stuff, but a fun action score nonetheless. There were certain parts that stood out a lot more than others. I will definately get the score when it comes out, but it really ticks me off that the current soundtrack doesn't have ANY of the score at all. Normally they at least put one or two tracks from the score in. Has anyone heard more about the score release than "it's in the works"? Good news is, someone ripped the score from the videogame (also scored by Jablonsky) and put it online, so at least I have that preview for now.
  19. I saw Transformers yesterday. I thought it was pretty sweet. The graphics were insane! (Not that I was worried about that part) But the plot was pretty good too. There was a lot more involved there than the original cartoon. I liked too how they explained or changed the most obvious errors that the cartoon version contained. Made it seem a lot more possible. The score? Well, I'll post about that in the thread for the score.
  20. He can be a brilliant composer when he wants to be. Scores like "A Beautiful Mind" attest to that. The main complaint I have of him is his constant reuses of certain cues. I don't mind so much when he just throws them in very briefly as sort of a musical signature, but some scores *cough* Troy *cough* are almost nothing but those cues.
  21. Van Helsing was pretty good. I love the soundtrack. (even though Silvestri did rip a bit from "O Fortuna") Haven't seen any of the Tomb Raider movies though.
