Adagio for Strings is brilliant, but I don't think it quite surpasses Williams.

I actually really liked the mirrored lettering.

That first one looks really good, but it's a bit too wide. You generally don't want a banner to be more than about 760 pixels, because there is an unfortunately large amount of people who still use 800x600 resolution. They all look very nice though.

So it plays the JW Greatest Hits 69-99 CD, and automatically plays the sheet music versions along with it. Cool.

Sorry if this was brought up before, I tried to search for it, but the search feature on this site is not very user friendly. My question is about the disco-like version of the CEot3K theme. Did JW actually arrange that, or someone else? And why? What were they thinking?

I love the Battle of Hoth track. I especially like the version in the Shadows of the Empire soundtrack (the game, not the OST based on the book). Yes, I know it's just an abridged version of what's in the movie, but it was done well.

I think I'm missing something. Where do we download this?

I don't get why everyone cares so much about what other people think about scores. Isn't it a matter of personal opinion? There's no such thing as anyone having bad taste in the scores they like just because someone else might think differently. Personally, there have been very few scores by either Williams or Zimmer that I have not absolutely loved. But that's just my opinion.

Ah, I see. I knew that Tyler was involved as well as Goldsmith, but I had always figured that it was one of those deals where one guy composes a large portion of the music and another guy is officially credited for it. (like the Zimmer/Badelt thing in POTC)

I haven't heard the soundtrack to Timeline yet, but I remember absolutely loving it in the movie. Didn't sound to synthy at all IMO.

Great OST. I especially like the track "Jim's New Life."

I especially hate it when 50% or more of the soundtrack is just pop songs.
