  1. No, we're not. Check the IP's if you don't believe me.
  2. I actually haven't seen many of the Young Indy videos. The ones I did see were back when they were still being played on TV. I'd like to see them all at some point though.
  3. I'm not sure offhand what the other piece is, but here is a copy of the trailer for reference. (It is a rip from a VHS via a tv-tuner so the quality is very poor, but it is enough for a reference anyway.) link removed
  4. When it comes to classical, I like Holst, Sousa, and some of Gershwin's stuff. Then there are a few separate pieces from other guys which I think sound cool.
  5. "Reach For The Stars." That's it! You have no idea how long I've been trying to find that! Now that I know the name, I did a search and found this. http://www2.playkpmmusic.com/pages/viewcd/....cfm?cdnum=1926 Thanks dude! B)
  6. I think you're talking about the same piece that I am trying to find. Do you mean this piece? http://members.aol.com/jfm3200/pringles.wav BTW, nice to see another DeLorean fan (I'm assuming that from you screen-name).
  7. Horror: Steve Jablonsky Drama: Thomas Newman Action/Adventure: Alan Silvestri Sci-Fi: John Williams Comedy: John Powell Mystery: Philip Glass Romance: James Horner Fantasy: Danny Elfman
  8. This is a piece of music that I have been trying to identify for years. I have heard it in all sorts of advertisements and movie trailers, some of which include a "Young Indiana Jones" trailer, a Disney's "Hercules" trailer, and more recently an Incredibles Pringles commercial. I've got no clue where it came from or who composed it, but I would really like to find out. Here's a sound clip I found from the Pringles commercial. http://members.aol.com/jfm3200/pringles.wav Anyone recognize it?
  9. That's pretty much exactly how I feel about classical. It's good music, just not my style.
  10. The Happy Feet score is very good. I haven't heard Casino Royal yet, but I love Arnold's music. None of the others look too impressive. The ONLY reason he won before was "political correctness." It makes me sick.
  11. Scherzo For Motorcycle And Orchestra (Indiana Jones And The Last Crusade) Duel Of The Fates (Star Wars Episode I The Phantom Menace) Buckbeak's Flight (Harry Potter And The Prisoner Of Azkaban) The Patriot (The Patriot) The Tale of Viktor Mavorski (The Terminal)
  12. Jerry Goldsmith score: Airforce One Jerry Goldsmith theme: Star Trek Theme Jerry Goldsmith cue/track: Not sure Jerry Goldsmith album: Airforce One Film scored by Jerry Goldsmith: Airforce One (repetitive, I know, but I love that soundtrack)
  13. I think that Williams and Goldsmith are nearly equal in talent with no real way to tell one way or the other. However, I personally MUCH prefer Williams' style of music, and find it to be much more enjoyable to listen to. Plus, Williams has composed a lot more of those pieces that everyone (even someone not a soundtrack fan) instantly recognizes. For example, the Star Wars Main Title, Jaws theme, Imperial March, Raiders March, the list goes on and on. The Star Trek theme is about the only piece like that I can think of for Goldsmith. Also Williams is far more Oscar-nominated. (even though the Oscars are obviously rigged as apparent from the last one.) *shudders in pain from the awful memory*
  14. This is not exactly sequencing of tracks, but on the Giants of Cinema CD there is a Black Sunday suite which, according to soundtrackcollector.com, includes the tracks Preparations, The blimp & the bomb, Air chase, The explosion, and End cast. Does anyone know at what seconds each piece stops and starts, and if the order is correct? Thanks!
  15. 60's - Lost in Space and How to Steal a Million 70's - Jaws and Superman 80's - Star Wars Episode V and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade 90's - Jurassic Park and Star Wars Episode I 00's - Catch Me if You Can and Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
  16. Sorry to use this topic for this, but David Vincent, could you please contact me? Your inbox is full, or I would have just contacted you by PM. I have a John Williams midi you may add to your site if you would like to. If you're interested, drop me an email at cmckn953@students.bju.edu
  17. I liked the Twister score. Haven't heard the others though.
  18. Absolutely GoF. Doyle did a good job, but it was still nothing like Williams' scores.
