I decided to spend my free time this week literally drawing and designing my own cover art for Rogue One. Everything from front covers, to back covers, to spines. I made two, one with Jedha as the main focus and the other with Scarif as the main focus. They are for my eventual burn of a OST FYC edit.
What do you think of the good old hand made covers? The Jedha set is my personal favorite and I don't quite like how Scarif turned out scale-wise.
I found it by accident on Audio Network. The track is just over 3 minutes long and is called "Space Battalions" composed by James Brett, a composer I've been somewhat familiar with for a couple years. I had actually suspected he or another composer on Audio Network had composed it, but I didn't come across it until just now.
You can listen to it here:

I'll take a serious stab at trying to get this for you guys (assuming the price doesn't get too crazy). Outside of JWFan donations, I'd like to try and give back to this community somehow to repay the great amount it has given me.
I wish we had a "theatrical cut" complete recordings.
The FOTR soundtrack album is one of my all time favorites. I prefer it a little over the complete recordings because of how well assembled it is and how well it works as an album.

@crocodile this thread made me relisten to the ROTJ album. I had forgotten Fight in the Dungeon and the Jabba concert suite are completely missing. I think the release being a single LP (unlike SW and ESB, which were double LPs) put a hamper on the opportunity to showcase the ROTJ music on the album. I would rate it low as well.

The rest of the film scores JW composed had no OST album, so everything released when the specialty labels got to them was recorded for film use (as far as we know).
You may find Chris Malone's article the most illuminating here. Honestly, his entire piece is so well researched and such a delight to read (and frequently re-read, in my case).

Discussion of the ROTJ top end in the 2CD Special Edition set begins at the bottom of page 28.
What OSTs are we considering for the OT? The original ones, released on the 70s/80s, the Anthology, the Special Editions or Disney's 2018 new release?
Because if it's the originals, then ROTJ is on the last position by far. What a lame, depressingly short album for such a great score (the original releases of ESB and ANH were decent for their time though).
