Thanks everyone for the input. Loving it!

Another update today... I've added not only the items from @Miguel Andrade and @QuartalHarmony but also added a bunch of concert work / Non Film related releases, premiers etc.
The biggest addition today should help with sorting through the sheer amount of entries. I've added a slicer to the sheet that will let you filter and only see different entry types. It's the red interface in the top right corner and should look like this

You can click on it and choose your type and it will show you just those items.

Press gathering sometime before June 1996 at Watford Town Hall, with the Pro Arte Orchestra, presenting "Summon the Heroes" (source Classic CD magazine #74, June 1996) June 21st, at the Royal Academy of Music with the RAM Symphony Orchestra and Chorus, Judith LeClaire solo bassoon on the Bassoon Concerto "The Five Sacred Trees" (https://johnwilliams.org/reference/bibliography/1996/harris) June 26th, 28th and 30th, at the Barbican, with the London Symphony (source, concert flyer) -- note the dates added, missing from the post by @QuartalHarmony post. The June 30th performance was the one broadcast, hence the one everyone is likely to know about.

It’s really just the short woodwind music as R2 and 3PO are approaching Jabba’s Palace at the beginning. It is similar to the droid theme that occurs several times in ESB, but definitely not the same. As far as I can tell, the ROTJ droid theme is only used exactly once in the film.

I’ve never worked out why he didn’t reuse the (excellent) theme from ESB at all in ROTJ. Or in the PT, for that matter. It’s quite out of character for him.

A couple of sad dates that just occurred to me:

    1974/03/03
Barbara Ruick dies in Reno, NV

    1985/10/19
    Johnny Williams dies in LA

    And a rather happier one:

    1960/09/01
Joseph Stanley Williams born in Santa Monica, CA

So this has been in the back of my head ever since @Ricard brought it up almost 2 years ago...

I finally decided to give it a go and started something that I've been working on... it is in no way complete but it's a start. I've been picking away at it here and there but I thought it might get the ball rolling... even if it is 2 years later

most of the other themes in HP3
Raiders nazi theme(s) in Last Crusade
    probably some in Jaws 2

Indeed - I was more poking fun at the evidence that the good citizens of JWFan pretty much never agree on anything to do with album production. Hence if you put us lot in charge of putting together an album, half the forum would secretly hate it anyway.

Referring to them as ‘songs’ is what’s most likely to get you banned. Tracks or cues are less likely to ruffle feathers.

I listened to this album again today (well, the first disc) after not having heard it in a while.  I kind of fell in love with the score!  It's damn good, and the 50 minute main score presentation is perfect, it gives me everything I need.  I've only seen the film once, but listening to this main program makes me feel like I've been taken on the journey of the whole film, and I really enjoyed the constant appearances of the three major themes.  The amount of way he varies them so it always stays fresh is impressive!

The 25 minutes of bonus tracks are nice to have as well, though I won't listen to them as often as I will the main program.  It's funny, when a new expansion first comes out, all you can think about it how it compares to the old album, or the film, or whatever, and it kind of gets judged a bit on those qualities as well as how it compares to other Williams expansions - at least, all these kinds of thoughts go through my head.  But then eventually on later listens, you just evaluate it as one of John's scores in amongst all his others.  I feel like I never can really judge his scores until we get these expansions, and it's so great that so many of them have gotten them now, and we can really evaluate his whole body of work with the full releases of so many of his film scores being a part of that.  It's wonderful how many we've gotten and I can't wait to keep filling in the holes with more!

Oh I dunno, I think on my setup, with a FiiO DAC and quality Sony headphones, I can tell the difference between ACTUAL 24/48 content in its native file and a version downmixed to 16/44.1

But of course, listening through the DAC built into my laptop, through bluetooth in my car, casually on small speakers or through earbuds, etc, of COURSE 16/44.1 is good enough and having 24/48 files stored on those devices would be a waste of space, indeed.

But I do find it a bummer that our specialty label heroes working on these amazing master recordings of film scores get to master their new albums in 24/48 or higher, but then the labels can only sell their work to us in 16/44.1.  I wish there was a way to sell the 24/48 to those who want it
