The Paper Chase cannot be "expanded", because it never had an OST album to begin with.  The first time music from it was released was 19 years after the film came out, on Film Score Monthly's 1998 release of The Poseidon Adventure.  I do not know if the 30 minutes on that disc are the entire score or not; I've never seen the movie.  Varese later included the end titles on a 20th Century Fox 75th Anniversary 3-CD compilation in 2010.

The Reivers DID have an OST album in 1969 on CBS Records, a label later absorbed into Sony Music.  When Sony Music issued the album on the CD format in 1995, they "expanded" it by adding one additional track.  I believe the specialty labels have never tackled this one because no elements exist anywhere.  The film was made by a former studio National General Pictures - which went defunct 5 years after the movie came out.  While Warner Bros. supposedly inherited their library, I doubt any scoring elements in NGP's vaults made it over.

Looking at the list of films NGP made, I don't think the specialty labels haven't tackled a single one?

For me it's 100% the shipping cost. If it cost $5 to ship a release I'd have ordered Hook the second it came back in stock. But it doesn't - for non US/Canada customers you're adding at least the cost of an entire second product just to ship the first one. Hence unless it's a personal grail, I'm waiting until I can bundle at least two together. I'm in a round of this game with LLL and Intrada right now.

I'd vastly prefer to pay $5 and purchase 3 or 4 tracks from this new edition of TLW but I'm not able to do that, so in this case my Hook purchase timing is entirely reliant on this coming back (or, if something else I wanted came out soon). It's not ideal for either party, really.

I'd start with at least Jane Eyre especially since the complete score is lost, and even the surviving album program has some distortion on it. Must have been amazing to be in that room hearing such a magnificent score live.

Beyond the obvious LEGENDARY John Williams scores from 75-84…

I would go for the challenging ones with weird percussion, which happen to be a lot of Goldsmith.

ALIEN, to see what it was that made Jerry say never again to re-recording it.

Star Trek the Motion Picture to see the Blaster Beam orchestra and synth all together.

Planet of the Apes to see the mixing bowls and weird shit.

The Omen (and the titular track from The Temple of Doom) to see the choir chatter among themselves like WTF are we doing here?

I think that Disney has proven that Star Wars is not that special amazing wonder that we all thought for decades, and it can be turned into shit faster than Kathleen Kennedy says “The Force is female”.

I think it was revealed a couple of years back on 60 Minutes.  Cronkite mentioned to Reagan that he thought that he would need a better journalist than him for future interviews.  Always the master of wit, Reagan retorted "I know, but they are all dead."

I'm kinda leaning towards the "John Williams Music Superstructure", which makes me think of the Death Star...although the "John Williams Music Erection" has a certain ring to it too.
