I'm stuck! I initially thought it might be from the opening of The Last Jedi, around 4:21, but obviously it can't be that if it's earlier than Azkaban, and it also doesn't sound quite the same. The passage shared seems incredibly Williams-y though! Back to the drawing board.

Just thought I'd pop this here in case anyone here loves this cue as much as I do. For this video, I restored Arrival in New York to the picture from Home Alone 2. I did it a little differently to @Holko, so feel free to compare the merits of both interpretations.

The video is "unavailable" here in Canada. Could you share the track title? (I still haven't figured it out!)
SpoilerThe end of 'Deploying the Spyders'! (in the middle of the OST track 'Spyders!') from Minority Report

Maybe not! The CD track is actually edited and is a bit different from what the score dictates. The first bar is completely edited out, and the written score has there a loud trumpet combination that is a red herring, because you look for it and don't find it in the recording. Props to @Falstaft for identifying it despite this.
And by the way, what a piece! I hadn't listened to it in a while.
Yep - that’s why I thought it would be tricky (and a little mean.. sorry!!)

Well done! I'm sorry, I wasn't awake to give you a hint! All your guesses beforehand were really good, the similarity between this and Long Grass is quite remarkable. I thought the fact that the first bar is cut out might throw some people off - if I'd shown the opening bars it would be too easy! How'd you figure it out?

Great guess actually - the writing is really similar there too.

I didn't want to go into The Hunt yet, but I have one more video coming on that sequence that's currently unfinished, based on the new-found script and the storyboards. We'll get to that one soon, but I need some more time to finish it.
That's great news, very much looking forward to seeing it. I have to say this is simply an excellent thread, I come back to it very often. Many thanks to you

Since this thread has come up again I figured I might as well add this - I did my own synchronisation of The Hunt for a video I posted a month or so ago -
My approach was to have the main ideas in the right place - even if that meant adding in pauses and what not - rather than having a continuous sequence that doesn't quite fit. It's definitely not perfect, and there are several points that don't really work but I am definitely happy with how the car smash section turned out - I think that that is potentially more accurate. Any discussion is welcomed :))

That's actually why I put a shot of the dome's destruction under it.
The Theatrical is still too short with these 2 shots added to it, so I just plopped them into my Frankenedit and adjusted the part right after. The video's now replaced!
Thanks a bunch! Despite being inevitably a little rough around the edges, I think the result works really well!

New 2m2 The Krypton Quake - This is a mess: the Theatrical has too little footage for the scene and drops most of the cue except for the very opening and the explosion's final buildup (but the ending with the explosion itself is still removed), the Extended has far too much footage and loops the cue a lot. I decided to just edit it however I felt like, the 3 certain points were the opening, the Fanfare over the pod leaving Krypton, and the ending, otherwise I tried to put shots of Kal-El's parents over main theme and Personal theme statements, bigger wide shots over sudden changes, etc.
Amazing, amazing work! Very glad to see this on the forum.
I just have one suggestion here - the sketches (and I believe something MM said in an interview? can't locate it) suggest that the ascending runs at 8:58 of this video (which recall similar ones from The Dome Opens), were meant to accompany the shot of the "starship" flying past Zod and co in the phantom zone (a shot which was moved to 10:14 of this same video). Baby's Trip to Earth seems to have been scored in the 'second half' of Williams' colossal time on the project (since it was orchestrated by Arthur Morton, who orchestrated almost all the cues in this second half), so I believe that it was scored with the change, but Kryptonquake may have been scored when that shot was still in there. Would you be willing to try and experiment by putting that shot into the Kryptonquake restoration and seeing where it takes you?
That's a bunch of words but I hope that makes sense.

Unfortunately it's not for an LTP, but as part of an upcoming Star Wars concert...
That's all cues that have been digitally prepared for the prequels for this concert:
2 FlagParade
3 AnakinsTheme
4 DuelFates
5 AcrossStars
6 GeneralGrievous (the screenshot probably shows the beginning of this piece)
7 EnterLordVader
... alas
Thanks for responding - that's a shame, but I knew this was a possibility. Riding the Lizard does begin the OST track 'General Grievous, so you're definitely right. It's a strange choice, you'd think. I don't think either of those two are the most popular cues from the OST. Perhaps Williams is fond of them, or something like that.

Tricky! I don't think I've really thought of anything beyond my top 3 before. I find it really hard to rank the scores, and I think that I could put any of these 10 above any of the others on some particular day, and I'm sure next month it would be completely different. But, if I had to rank them right now:
1. Hook
2. Superman
3. Empire Strikes Back
4. A.I. Artificial Intelligence
5. E.T.
6. The Lost World: Jurassic Park
7. Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom
8. Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
9. War of the Worlds
10. Dracula
And the following complete my 15 favourites at the moment:
Close Encounters of the Third Kind
Angela's AshesJurassic Park
Memoirs of a Geisha
Witches of Eastwick
Creating this list reminds me that after 1975, all of Williams' scores have something to like about them, so it was really hard to select a few. Thanks for organising this!

Just subscribed too, fantastic work !
By any chance would your other videos also be available as PDFs ?Thanks so much! Most of them have links to PDF versions in the description - if they don't shoot me a message and I'm happy to send them to you.

It's an absolutely fantastic work and very helpful for me! I'll treasure it!
Oh, that's a good point.
Actually, I have no idea how to arrange that section....
You are very welcome. I suppose you may have to go with the chord accompaniments below the runs, and add in perhaps one voice of the runs where it feels appropriate - at least that's what I would do.

Thank you for your great kindness!
Here you go! Thanks for subscribing and for the kind words. As I mentioned, the formatting is very messy, but I hope that it can help you.
I think that the section from bar 83 onwards may have been too difficult for a piano arrangement, and perhaps that is why it is removed.

Thanks Michael! This video is actually pretty bad since it was my first one, but thank you nonetheless.
I've been loving your new reduction videos too.

Whatever the reason, it will be an interesting one! My bet is that they are preparing the material for LTP performances.
That’s my hope - I’d pay lots of money to see it.

This is just a theory, so don't take anything I'm saying here as fact - but Mark Graham recently posted on Instagram this picture: https://www.instagram.com/p/CvdIKBiSt4Z/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA. I recognise the cue as being Riding the Lizard from Revenge of the Sith. The recent date in the bottom left seems to imply that this version of the score has been prepared recently (and that he's not just looking in the archives for fun). (Keep in mind I have no idea how the JKMS library is set up - this could mean nothing). Perhaps this part of the score is being prepared for a future concert (which seems an odd choice), or maybe even an LTP performance of Revenge of the Sith (though the formatting is a little different to other LTP scores I've seen).. Any thoughts?
