  1. He'll probably announce his involvement after he finishes IF. That's usually how he does it.
  2. Woman gets job = politcal agenda. Lol grow up. Also we haven't had a movie since 2019 so what have they lost money on? Lol
  3. I've seen the movie 5 times already. Gets better with each watch imo.
  4. Wait until Rey's apprentice is played by another cute white British brunette and John Williams will write so much music they'll have to turn it into another trilogy.
  5. Let's be realistic. It's sad to think about, but 2026 is very far away, especially for someone John's age. He'll be 94 when the movie comes out. Time aside, there's also the possibility that Williams is probably more than happy to step away from action heavy franchise movies (see him talking about how he initially was hesitant to score Dial of Destiny because of the time and effort it takes the score movies of this scale). Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy would probably wanna work with someone else (probably Laura Karpman). Maybe John will write a theme for a new heroine and pass the score to someone else (Powell, Giacchino, Karpman, Ross). But there's no way John Williams will score the whole movie.
  6. In addition to receiving a nomination for The Fabelmans, John Williams earned 2 Grammy nominations for Dial of Destiny! Well deserved imo.
  7. Oh I didn't know that! I was always under the appreciation that John Williams is kinda hard to nail for interviews.
  8. John Willliams talking about Phoebe Waller-Bridge like he did Daisy Ridley is so sweet. Homie will be making themes for attractive white brunette British women until he retires. Maybe if Rey's apprentice in the Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy Star Wars is played by an actress of that sort, he'll find a way to be involved.
  9. Love this podcast. Never guessed Jon would get John Williams on this show. Highlight is John saying James Mangold is "so young and full of energy and promise" as if isn't a 60 year old man. Lol
  10. Now that both soundtracks are out, time to make complete videos for Baylan, Morgan, and the New Republic while also making videos for Shin and Anakin. Woo!
  11. Really dope interview with the Kiners. Apparently Shin has a theme. Really fun insights here. https://screenrant.com/ahsoka-show-kevin-sean-deana-kiner-composer-interview/
  12. I'm gonna have to make second videos when Vol 2 comes out, but these were so much fun to make! Still gotta keep an ear open for other themes.
  13. I shall! Almost done organizing the themes. Just gotta download the audios and edit them together. Also may update them when Vol 2 comes out. Lol
  14. Making my way through the soundtracks so I can make theme suites for my YouTube channel. But I gotta say, the music has been spectacular on its own so far. So far I've found themes for Baylan, Morgan, and the New Republic. Not sure if Shin has one tho. Wish every Star Wars music release was this expansive.
  15. Damn, didn't know so many people hated Giacchino's work. Pity. I love all the composers mentioned by name here so I have to come up with my own answer. While I like their work on The Social Network and Soul, I don't think Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross are all that in the grand scheme of things. Empire of Light specifically is a film score that flat out put my ass to sleep. Not sure why Thomas Newman wasn't asked to score that film, but he was missed. Their score for the new Ninja Turtles movie was really disappointing and probably the worst part of an otherwise great movie. Not saying they're bad composers, can't think of a bad film composer at the top of my head. But man, I wish they knocked it out of the park more often. Sidenote: John Powell should've won the Oscar for How To Train Your Dragon. Was mad at 12, mad now.
  16. Yesterday at the BBC Proms, Laura Karpman's main theme for The Marvels was performed and man, it sounds pretty dope so far. I'm also a sucker for a cello in a superhero theme. I dug Pinar Toprak's theme for the first movie, but this theme really suits my film score tastes a little bit more. Laura Karpman is a severely underrated talent so I'm happy she's finally being given a big budget blockbuster. I loved her score for Ms. Marvel and her score for What If was really the saving grace of that series for me. Cannot wait to hear the whole score, I'm already watched this video an obscene amount of times.
  17. Music this episode continues to be fucking incredible. Also, our first use of a Williams theme and it wasn't one I expected to hear. Though in retrospect, it makes sense.
  18. This guy points out that the one melody at the end of Episode 3 was indeed a theme for Baylan. Turns out it was also in my favorite music cue in Episode 1. Morgan's Theme sounds cool too.
