  1. and if you‘ve been to a opera house once you would need to be very thankful for the amount of coughing a concert hall has even on a bad day haha
  2. oh wow thanks for that. we should definetly give him some boos the next time he gets a solo applause after a concert Are you sure? I think I saw him on thursday but not sure.
  3. Unfortunately not, but Denève read out some words Williams sent to the audience: Deneve comment.mp3 Williams' message.mp3
  4. This was beautiful. We got to hear the world premiere of Sayuri‘s Theme for Cello and Orchestra that Williams arranged for Bruno Delepelaire, who already played the Elegy in 2021! 🤭 Highlight was the SW Main Title, that’s where the orchestra gave 110%. Otherwise, the Orchestra played beautifully, especially the woodwinds, which were on fire. Horns had some flubs in Adventures on Earth, otherwise, everything was played magnificently. 5. This shot has an unexplainable aura to it 1.mp4 Having a sip of water in silence while literally every other person in this room is there only because of you and is working on getting your idea into reality.
  6. Apparently many Star Wars fans who do not focus on the music in particular quite like what many of us music nerds criticize about the score and even think it's intentional that the music "isn't quite there yet". Quite interesting interpretation and while I share the opinion the score is an at times bad (or at least an unfinished draft of a) Williams imitation, I still think think it's effective in enhancing the movie's message, because (following the argumentation of these "nerds" here) the film itself represents a rebellion that isn't at its best yet, but just in the building: (9:17 to 10:53) "I've heard people saying the OST doesn't hit it for me, but yeah, I think that's the point, you know?" Interesting to see non-music nerds interpreting it that way.
  7. Three concerts at the Philharmonie on April 16/17/18, 2026 wait how were you able to get that information before the season announcement? xD
  8. Wow, does this mean it's gonna be more tonal or more experimental? I think it will probably be quite sentimental, right?
