  2. Can’t tell much of a difference between the last 4 album assembly tracks and it’s revisions/alternates. ‘Angel Family’ cue (disc 2 track 20 ) is rearranged/reedited/assembled from portions of both versions.
  3. They look like cosplayers which doesn't surprise me at all.
  4. The Goosebumps TV show theme was cheesy anyway. Plus I didn't think it captured the tone of the books either, imo.
  5. Don't understand the antipathy toward the Brian May scores. I'll take these over Junkie's percussive droning anyday.
  6. The most intimate score of the trilogy, imo. Lasiurus is a very effective ambient and mysterious track that still resonates with me for some reason.
  7. While looking at Vision’s face on that EW cover I’m getting a Peter Weller Robocop vibe.
  8. I don’t think the season 5 finale needed to be 90 minutes long. And the number of 4 -5 minute commercial breaks took away from the episode’s suspense and pacing, imo. However I still thought it was a good episode to an otherwise excellent season. And as for the upcoming cash grab/spin off I’ll probably check it out out of curiosity if anything.
  9. The Walking Dead will air a 90-minute season finale March 29 http://www.ew.com/article/2015/02/25/walking-dead-90-minute-season-finale-march-29
  10. That would be Zimmer. Elfman superhero/comic book based scores Batman, Batman Returns, Dick Tracy, Darkman , Spider-Man 1 and 2, Hulk, Hellboy 2, Wanted, and MIB Trilogy. And additional music for Avengers 2. Elfman superhero/comic book based themes Tales From The Crypt and The Flash (90s tv show) I'll even throw this in. Zimmer doesn’t come close The Dark Knight Trilogy, Megamind, Man Of Steel, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and the upcoming Batman V. Superman.
  11. Did not see that coming. Wonder if he’ll be involved in anymore upcoming MCU movies? Anyways it's pretty cool to have the king of superhero scores assist the MCU music department's golden boy on this project. Now if only Marvel could hire John Williams to compose the themes or scores to Avengers: Infinity Wars Part I and II and we’ll be set.
  12. Varese and a youtuber separately edited their own suites from Bates Motel on YT. Check it out. Yes I've heard and even own Bacon's Source Code. And I agree about the main titles. I also adore "Frozen Moment". https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kCcym7h9XHI It really tugs the heartstrings. Especially during the context of the movie. Interesting coincidence that Vera Farmiga (Miss Bates) is also featured in Source Code.
  13. I’m not as good at giving reviews as others up here, but here goes…. I’m a casual viewer of the show. And Source Code got me into Bacon’s music. Bates Motel is an ambient score that not only explores (as does the show itself) the psychology of a young Norman Bates and his unorthodox relationship with his mother but also the mystery behind certain characters and events of White Pine Bay that crosses Norma and Norman’s path. Bacon came up with plenty of motifs that either depicts Norma, Norman , the mother and son bond between Norma and Norman, the romance between Norman and Bradley, the brotherly bond between Dylan and Norman, the mysterious town of White Pine Bay, etc. It has it share of bleak, macabre, and even tender moments. Fans of the show and Bacon should check it out.
  14. An underrated score that I felt was a vast improvement over Zimmer's previous scores from the same genre.
  15. Elfman actually walked away from S-M2 . Where can I find out/hear more about this feud? A quote from Elfman about it. http://www.darkhorizons.com/news/2927/elfman-raimi-split-on-spider-man Raimi finally opened up about it while promoting that Oz prequel at a press conference back in 2013. And he took most of the blame for the feud even happening. Check out 14:24
  16. Yeah, no, it is. I thought it was better than the first one, although that's probably colored by how much I prefer Young's score to any other Spider-Man efforts. Meh! Young's is my least favorite score of the five movies. And it only added to the many problems I had with the 3rd movie
  17. Don't have much interest in the film and score either only posted this news for those who were curious about it.
