A special event is John Williams Conducts John Williams! On September 26, hear Star Wars, Harry Potter, E.T., and more, conducted by the famed film composer. To add to the excitement, special film montages will be projected onto screens while the orchestra performs.
I just bought tickets for my first John Williams concert. "Williams will preside over a program of excerpts from his most famous film scores..." I asked the Columbus Symphony Orchestra if I could submit a request, and they said I had to contact John Williams to do that.
Do any of you have a suggestion as to how to submit a request to John Williams? I'd really love to see "Duel of the Fates" live!
Thanks.

Happy Birthday Star Wars! One of my favorite childhood memories is seeing the original Star Wars in the theater with my dad and brother when I was 7.
when I come back to my PC tonight I want to see the thread:Complete Prequel Scores Announced!
That would be sweet!

Thanks!
How about Back to the Future 2?
(And I may not have to mention that for this movie "chronological" would still mean the order the music appears in the movie: 1985, 2015, 1985, 1955.)

I haven't seen the movies in awhile, so I was wondering if anyone could help me sequence the tracks on the two James Horner Star Trek soundtracks, II: The Wrath of Kahn and III: The Search for Spock, please? Thanks!

I was just curious for how many of you John Williams is your absolute favorite composer, as opposed to just another really good composer.
Yes B)

I was at this show, and I thought he said that he had never been to the Ohio Theater. If he had previously only been to the Palace Theater, then what he said was accurate. I heard him as complimenting a venue he had never been to before.
And furthermore, he seemed very fit and energetic for a 75-year-old. I was very impressed with his performance, and I am very thankful I finally got a chance to see the Maestro in person.
