Well, I did MY RESEARCHES, and it unfortunately appears that Gui-Gon's talking beard indeed appreared to Obi-Wan AND Anakin in Clone Wars, but it was on a "special" planet...
So many shortcuts to good storytelling whens things are fast-tracked. Same with Yoda being able to physically affect things in VIII. My goodness, if dead Jedi can do that, why are we having a movie.

And well, that's why Obi and Luke lived that long!
That is a big plot point for the series. It ends with Obi-Wan changing his name to Ben Kenobi, thus throwing off Vader and the empire indefinitely.

Apparently, nobody even bothered to tell him the title.

I mean, good luck making a sunny story out of a guy living as a hermit on a desert planet because a Sith lord massacred all his collegues and his former pupil went mental and killed a load of his students before getting barbequed by hot lava.
It will be like Ewan's Big Fish role, a bunch of happy, exciting tales from his years on Tatooine, except it will turn out in the end that he is completely crazy and made everything up.

Williams is no doubt starting Indy soon. I wonder, though, if he doesn't have a week or so of recording left for the Fabelmans. I am surprised absolutely nothing has leaked about the sessions thus far (assuming they have happened). That is a lot of musicians and such showing tremendous self-control on their Twitter, et al. accounts.
Mangold mentioned he was on to editing. How long does that generally take for a competent* director?
*Just to be clear, by "competent," I mean someone other than Abrams.

My favourite movement as far as Williams's concerti go.
Painful reading some of the comments on the Youtube page--I wish I had the self-control to refrain from reading them. What is funny are the complaints about lack of melody and dissonance in this movement: two very clear melodies and barely dissonant.

Ross played a big role in Galaxy's Edge, so he already as a Kennedy/Disney track record.

Decent trailer. The series looks good, but certainly not great--hopefully, it will prove me wrong.
If they do not handle this obi-wan/vader thing with any originality, the whole series is going to feel like a rehash of the second half of ROTS.
My prediction is that they will sneak Ian in for an emperor scene or two.

Or the guy who ran to the stage for a autograph. A guard escorted him out.
Poor J.J.

I don't think this is going to be released as an album (maybe a stream link or something). DG is the label for the violin concerto already. It seems odd that they would plan two releases of the same piece within the same general timeframe.

Superman March is showing, and the bells are hanging.
I am always gratified to know that we human beings in 2022 can do something never before done in the history of the world. I guarantee this is the first time ever this sentence has been uttered.

I remember as a boy when my parents would wait 6 months to throw me a birthday party, it made me sad.

Would we not have heard about it if he was recording something? The LA Recording Arts Symphony is very discreet. It is not like these gossipy, small town orchestras. These blabbermouths go on and on to anyone they meet about their recordings.

I wonder how much score JW has written to already edited footage. Either way, Mangold says editing begins in earnest today
I would say nothing. With the confirmation of the Fabelmans as his current project, I think Indy work will commence in a few weeks.

I don't know why you would want info on a key signature. A key does not even know how to write. Francis Scott Key being the only exception.
I might be drunk.

Nice colour combo.
I wonder if Mutter wore a yellow dress for precisely this reason, knowing the DG label.
2 hours ago, Matt S. said:It's too bad he didn't get away from Sony Classical sooner... DG is spoiling us with all of these releases. There was a 15 year gap between American Journey and Spielberg/Williams III. Just think of what could've been done in those years.
(cue a "I could've done more..." joke)
DG is superior to Sony. However, I think Williams could have done as many albums as he chose with Sony.

I think I have to give it to Harry Potter though. The films matured along with the characters. Instead of “cutesy” magical themes with lots of celesta, I could imagine more dramatic tones with measured action music.
Williams had already moved on from the cutesy by the third installment.

You are probably aware of this, but in case not, Williams turned this into a longer concert suite.
