No, I think that is where he talked extensively about his early scores, his thoughts on the complete release of the music of the Star Wars films, the incident that caused him to almost leave the pops, and his true thoughts on JJ Abrams and Zimmer. -
Cool conference--way above my paygrade, but it shows a growing respect for Williams's talent and legacy.

Why did John Williams recommend Don Davis to score Jurassic Park III?
Tom replied to danielnrg's topic in General Discussion
Yeah, I think it comes down to Williams thinking he was a very good up and coming composer. I doubt he cared to the extent he did with the first two SW anthology films. -

I think if Williams does not score The Fablemans, then that may be it for the collaboration (given the time he has to do it right now). That being said, I am extremely confident he will do it. Wouldn't it be cool for MM to do the full expansion as the official release of The Fablemans? (assuming, of course, it came out with the movie.)

Not sure if this has been posted, but a nice view into Williams the music lover. https://www.nytimes.com/2020/06/03/arts/music/five-minutes-classical-music-cello.html

Are you saying that it did not deliver? -
I think it may be his favorite own fanfare. Since composed, it has opened a lot of his concerts. My guess it was his suggestion to use it as the opening of Evening at Pops as well. I will add it to my surmised favorites of Williams's own compositions: Fanfare: Sound the Bells Fugue: Shark Cage Scherzo: Motorcycle March: Imperial Overall film piece: either Close Encounters, Throne Room, or Adventures on Earth.

Sorry the picture did not work out. Perhaps someone can give you a hand.

Congratulations on being the first person in history to see a picture of Audrey Hepburn and focus on her hand.

It is funny how little of Williams's music would work in trailers due to it being too recognizable. -

We all evolve. 10 years ago, I never ate candy bars with a knife and fork. What a fool I was. -
It hurts me the most when the strings are off this way. I would prefer waterboarding to listening to most high school string orchestras.

According to this guy, he would have needed a different jersey. Yes, I am scraping the bottom of the barrel.

What do you consider to be Williams “lightest” score?
Tom replied to WampaRat's topic in JOHN WILLIAMS
Going that route, I would go to the other chronological extreme and mention the Overture to the Oscars as a light (but great) piece. -

Amazing Stories Ghost Train is a nice sentimental romp too. -

I would add How to Steal a Million to the mix.
