  1. I haven't heard anything yet that could remotely qualify as jazz.
  2. Yes, I was told that Atmos is coming in 2027, likely in April. They've been finished for a while, but they're tied up in licensing.
  3. What's actually left to explore in this franchise? Multiverse? Time-travel? Full penetration?
  4. Meh, not really. A better exposition dump or a few flashback scenes in RotJ could have filled it in enough.
  5. It's a shame we never got a Boys Noize remix of Rey's Theme with a Captain Phlasma helmet vinyl.
  6. No movie actually needs Matt Damon. Even getting an unknown actor who speaks modern Greek would be preferable
  7. Well then the American vs British debate seems irrelevant. They're essentially identical compared to ancient Greek.
  8. It's funny with all the talk of accents how no one noticed that they should be speaking Greek.
  9. How is that strange? You don't watch the TV series in a theater. And the episodes aren't three hours each.
  10. If that's what you consider an "attack" then so be it, but we'll have to agree to disagree about weird behavior.
  11. I was just talking to my nephew's friend's parole officer, who also works as an occasional "urban culture" consultant for Spielberg, and he has some news that he overheard at the wrap party before he passed out from either too much alcohol, or possibly being drugged by a producer to make him forget what he heard (he was taken advantage of in moderately sexual ways, but the information leak was likely the main reason for the drugging. Also they could not find any date rape drugs in his blood): It's being shot in color, possibly on 35mm film. We can officially rule out videotape. It's utilizing real actors, not AI counterparts. This compounds the rumor I heard from my friend's son who witnessed a shoot in New Jersey about how hot Emily Blunt looked. However he is a gooner and might have been fooled by a sufficiently advanced AI. John Williams is apparently using an orchestra to perform the soundtrack, and the rumor is that they are tuned to 440 Hz with 12 tone equal temperament. I'm really excited about the richness of this tuning and the possibilities that the equal division of the octave brings. Take it all with a grain of salt, but I think I can safely say we're in for another Jaws/Close Encounters/Citizen Kane here based on the reliability of my sources. 👌
  12. Sounds like Suno or another AI music app. It's too slow for dancing unless you're on opiates or over 70.
  13. Right, the joke is that Colbert did a terrible job handling the LoTR film. Which no one has seen yet...
