  1. With every day passing I feel more lucky that we were able to experience this concert. It seems John Williams came to Berlin in that small window of time when COVID was not really high in Germany. I feel that two or three weeks after, the concert would not have happened.
  2. But in the DCH were there the introductions by John Williams speaking? Because in the tracklist of the CD they are included.
  3. Do you recommend to preorder it now from Deutsche Grammophon store (I don't know if they ship to Spain), or better wait for it to be available in spanish Amazon?
  4. This is great news, guys Really looking forward to owning this as a perfect memory for that day.
  5. Do we have previous releases in DVD/Blu-Ray of concerts from the Berliner Philharmoniker, or just audio releases? Now I am fearing no physical release in video will happen
  6. I want the physical release to be confirmed already! Just to be sure it will happen
  7. I wonder why Howard Shore does not conduct concerts of LOTR music not even in the USA. I would love to see him conducting some orchestra with this music.
  8. Well some of the applauses listed there were about 20 minutes, so last Saturday's one may be among the longest ever too! It was only 5 minutes less
  9. This has been truly one of the most special experiences of my entire life. It almost felt surreal... The orchestra were outstanding and John Williams was smiling, enjoying and really invested in directing. That final applause... when the pace of the applause changed all together was really magical. I will never forget this evening, I am having dinner while smiling.
  10. So glad you all enjoyed the concert yesterday, I am so looking forward to attending on Saturday! I see lots of pictures and people using their phones, was it allowed, or the workers of the Philarmonic were not making people keep their phones off?
  11. Yes, I was asking about Europe as a whole, including Ireland and the UK... Then Berlin will be the third? (Ireland when?, Vienna, Berlin)
  12. I was wondering, how many times has John Williams performed live with an audience (in a concert, I mean) in Europe in his career?
  13. Hi, I am new in this forum, but I have been reading you for some time and I wanted to start writing I am going to the concert on Saturday from Spain, and I will stay for the whole weekend, so I will do some sightseeing This would be my first (and probably last) John Williams concert, and I'm really looking forward to it! I missed the Vienna one because it sold out so quickly, but now I was faster and got tickets for behind the musicians, I hope the sound there is not so bad...
