So this is an interesting one!!  The "Listen" area of the FYC site lists 19 selections, but with a little digging, I discovered that there are actually 34 MP3 files available!!!  One cue/file is still missing ("05", "Barren", possibly "1m06"), which points to "Leaving Home" when it's played on the FYC site.  The 34 MP3 files consist of the 19 selections featured on the "Listen" tracklisting, plus source cues AND additional score cues.  For example, "The Second Expedition" (cue "08" on the "Listen" tracklisting) has three parts/MP3 files, despite there being only one entry on the "Listen" tracklisting (part 1).

Damn if they were actually helpful after the notice, we should have asked them about The Last Duel and The King's Men last year. Maybe we would have gotten the missing tracks.

You're absolutely right. All the cues have been available on GEMA repertory for a while. There are around 140-145 cues in total.

Very sad that the BR2049 score never got a decent release, but hope dies last! I'm still very curious about which project the Gold Dust belongs to, because now it's definitely not Blade Runner 2049.

One year countdown to season 2 soundtrack release yay!

but KOTCS opened wide right after its Cannes premiere (in the same week IIRC), whereas this one will open wide 6 weeks after its premiere, meaning there would be more than enough time for the word of mouth to "ferment". So I think there is at least some confidence from the studio.

Based on the composer announcement last October and these recent interview, I am almost certain that Koji Kondo will receive an upfront credit like "Themes by" on the soundtrack album

I'm rather proud of these for only my second time doing this. I was trying for an early 90's vibe.
 

 

 

 

No update on an album release, but Lakeshore is working with AFM and CBS to make it happen, per Nami's latest tweet reply.
