why in Empire Strikes Back is the Music Stereo image is flipped and the Cellos and Double Bass are on the Left? I was listening to it the other day (Carbon Freeze Scene) when Han has been frozen and you hear that dark ostinato on the Low end strings.

It does my nut in! I hate it when people do it! I Havent seen 'The John Williams' in concert but ive been to concerts of his music, people laughed at the jaws theme when it was played, i sat there asking myself... WHY!!!!???? and people where laughing at the Imperial March when the stormtroopers where there, this annoyed me and ruined the enjoyment of the peice People at the O2 arena in April for the Star Wars musical journey better just shut up! and be quiet!

I agree. I remember some people didn't believe me when I said Shore had help on the Lord Of The Rings scores. I honestly don't care how many write a score as long as the final product is good. It's just this whole mess with additional composers and the way people use that against RCP specifically. The way I see it with additional composers though, is that it's really not that much, which is why it's called additional. JNH probably did at least 90% of the work on King Kong. When you have the instances where specific tracks are credited to different composers, that's when they added a lot. Like with The Holiday and Tears Of The Sun. Those have like 10 composers each that did a lot of work. who helped howard shore do lord of the rings?

can only say what others have really, only the main title impresses really. and I liked Van Helsing, but now im not sooo sure.

The Complete Recordings are amazing, i was listening to the Two Towers one last night, its far superior to the OST versions. Also i love it when Maxxie posts, because i get to see Mitch!

i can relate to what you both mean, i think its because of the quantity of music that makes me doubt it. But i do know what you are refering too

The Complete Recordings would definatley change your opinion on the score. There is no comparison for me between the Original Soundtrack and the Complete Recordings

Yay! i was counting on you to post 5 Stefan Its a 5/5 from me, the Return Of The King Complete Recordings is one of the best investments ive ever made My favourite part is the brassy section in the last 2 minutes of 'The Siege Of Gondor', sheer brilliance. My next favourite part is in 'The Grace of Undómiel' 4.12 - 5.39, Fantastic! So many good parts, I love the whole score.
