  1. each to there own, but personally don't think it works well with Star Wars. But I understand that its not a movie from the Saga, but again its still Star Wars
  2. have you really not heard it? well if you havent your in for a treat, and its from star wars episode II
  3. Episode 7 was the best episode so far for me. but not looking forward to next week at all!
  4. Across The Stars is a Better peice, but do enjoy both scores.
  5. thanks, ive ordered that classic Marches ill have to try and get that Big Screen Adventure
  6. I could be wrong (and often am), but aren't these the same recording? Greg no the GFF ones is much more bass in it. is there anyway of getting it ?
  7. oh yeah i do have those ones, i have metallica and the force commander ones too
  8. Hi I was just wondering are there any versions of the peice that i don't have? I have (in no paticular order) * The 1997 Special Edition * The 1980 LP Version * The 1993 Anthology Version * By Request The Best Of John Williams Boston Pops Version * Star Tracks Erich Kunzel Version * Great Film Fantasies Erich Kunzel * Varujan Kojian Utah Symphony Orchestra Version * Skywalker Symphony Orchestra Version * Charles Gerhardt National Philharmonic Orchestra Version * The City Of Prague Orchestra Version (Both Versions, both very similar) (Pretty Awful Versions :s) * Lalo Schifrin, San Diego Symphony Pops Orchestra Of The Americas Version any known versions would be greatful (but orchestra's in mind though, not the Midi or Synthisied Versions)
  9. Why anyone would want the Expanded/Complete Potter Score over the SW Prequel Scores is beyond me (typical Star Wars Fan! He He). Would love all six Star Wars to get the Lord Of The Rings Complete Recordings treatment... Amazing box sets, full score in 5.1 DVD Audio, 2/3 CDs and a fantastically presented booklet containing notation to all the themes and all the composer notes Thats the dream!
  10. That's probably quite likely actually, given that the first three were done by good ol' Johnny. I doubt it'll be for a few years though. Yeah i'd love that boxset, but like you said, probably wont be for a few years! Exellent Avatar Pic By the way LOVE HIM! (Maxxie's Ofcourse, its too obvious i like King Mark's Pic )
  11. just ashame they put quotes in both mixes of all the tracks
  12. I know im changing the subject, but didn't want to start a new thread for it. Is it me or does the music from Episodes IV V IV sound their best on the Musical Journey DVD? The peice thats most impressive is probably "The Imperial March", it sounds fantastic! Also the other peice that striked me the most was the presentation of Light Of The Force near the end of the video. It sounds so superior to the Special Edition versions and the Anthology (well only a bit better than the Anthology) Does anyone else agree?
  13. wow, got lots to look for today then! thanks, keepin me busy
  14. ok thanx, ill look them both up, going to the big HMV in manchester tomoz, will try and pick up a copy or 2
  15. Hey there would you recommend Prokofiev's music to me? im just discovering true classical music now, tending to move away from film music, since its going all modern. i love williams music (obviously) wondering are there any paticular peices i should check out before going purchasing all the works of Prokofiev
  16. i saw QOS last night, wasnt over impressed, IMO too much action, not enough plot! Casino Royale is a classic for me, i love it
