In 'The Force Awakens Suite for Orchestra' [John Williams Signature Edition] there are two options at the end of the 'Jedi Steps and Finale' Concert Ending Film Ending That recording above they opted for the concert version.

Yeah I did, thank you. I got so angry at the state and lack of Star Wars expanded/complete releases one night that I stayed up making that. It proved to be quite therapeutic. One day it will be prescribed, so I/we can start the healing process.

You know how the anthology set had a rumoured 5th disc in the works, that was presumably cancelled just before they started working on the special edition soundtrack releases. Does anyone have anymore information on that 5th disc? or is it just myth and legend?

The 'A Musical Journey' mix of The Imperial March is probably the best presentation of the official LSO releases, shame about the dialogue in the track though.

I have usually said the Brass is lacking in performances of Imperial March by Boston Pops in the past, they proved me wrong with that performance! BRAVO! It's just a shame the strings are so quiet (likely too far from the mics). A few timing issues, but the feeling was fantastic.

It could be one of the encores? that could be why it's been removed from the description?

Yeah that poor flute player. The poor trombones having to do the ostinato at the end, the main melody and the syncopated section without a bar of rest. What do you mean when you say the sound stream recording? i've not heard of this!?? Yeah it's a shame how slow Vienna was. I'm hoping (if i'm lucky enough that's it's played) that the Berlin version is better.

The Varujan Kojian album is the first film music CD i ever had, so it has an extra special place in my collection for me. The Imperial March is ferocious! however I suspect many find it too fast. The Boston Pops recordings aren't really full of excitement compared to some of the others considering Star Wars in terms of performance needs that sense of excitement. The Skywalker Symphony is a good solid album, however is a little thin compared with the Utah Symphony for me. Vienna Philharmonic is definitely a stellar performance of The Imperial March, I struggle to enjoy it sometimes because of the forwardness of the mix and how bright it is. That Main Title - London Symphony recording from the hollywood sound is definitely my favourite re-recording of the main title, perhaps with the more recent recording of the main titles in air studios with the LSO. The Gerhardt recordings are certainly good (especially Empire), but like the Vienna mixing, it's a bit too forward and bright.

Don't forget the trombones phasing here... what happened on these releases!!?

It's so nice to see so much love for Hook! It was the score that started me down the Williams road.

Would make sense that it has Palpatine's Theme in there considering it doesn't appear anywhere else in the Hal Leonard Signature range.

I didn't realise there was so much love on here for The Rise of Skywalker score. ‘Psalm of the Sith’ will likely be Anthem of Evil?

I know the odds are high for it but as long as I get The Imperial March... i'll be over the moon. Been dreaming of Berlin Philharmonic playing that piece for many years.

Thank you. I agree completely (no surprise). When attempting 'outer self-reflection' on this matter, it's slightly crazy how disappointed I get due to Star Wars Soundtrack Releases (or lack thereof). But I know I am in good company here.
