Trope got a reaction from Justanothercrow421 in Don Davis - THE MATRIX (1999) - 2024 25th Anniversary Edition release by Varese
I hate this label. This zoo. This prison. This reality, whatever you want to call it, I can't stand it any longer. It's the new releases, if there is such a thing. I feel saturated by them. I can taste their laziness and every time I do, I fear that I've somehow been infected by them. It's repulsive! Isn't it? I must get out of here. I must get free... and in this wallet is the key, my key. Once Varèse Sarabande is destroyed, there is no need for me to be here.

The real question is, is this program acceptable to Thor? Or is it still too long?

Even without the fake hype this is just so stupid. With the fake hype it's insulting.

The one with the really bad cover art from Varese. No, not that one. Not that one either. Or this one. The other one.
(it’s the one that says “The Complete Score” on the cover)

Not bad, but it's pretty insubstantial once the novelty wears off. I'm sure it was fun to make, but I wish he'd put his time into something...better.

Wow, listening to the OST based on all the glowing recommendations and this is really great stuff!
I noticed the vocal sample at 1:32 in "The Courtship" is the same as the one used by Goldsmith in The Ghost and the Darkness (many, many, many times)!

I personally like the eye. It's nostalgic for me at this point and is a cool representation of the film.
Now if they had used the artwork from the Blu-ray... 🤮
