Don't worry. It will sell out so quickly, being available to order for mere seconds, and then take months to reprint.

In today's corporate-driven era of content creation, the marketability and ease of throwing content out to make an abundance of paraphernalia and memorabilia, it baffles me that these corporate giants can't or won't go the extra mile to actually give people (who I should add are willing to pay whatever) what they want and produce actual expansions. What are they worried about? Clearly they don't care that collectors already have this material...

In short, Disney should use its capitalistic might and go all-out - actual gold leaf embossed covers, the finest cotton papers in the booklets, posters, collectors cards, every second of recorded music and even the recordings of people still mic'd up when they're taking a shit - EVERYTHING!

Maybe they're paid Disney shills, like the ones saying how great their awful movies are in YouTube comments sections.

"Toxic and negative" for pointing out it could be better... 😂 That's the climate we're living in folks...

The Indiana Jones collectors on the FB Group told me I was being toxic and negative by pointing out the shortcomings of this release.   People simply do Not care.  In fact, they’re probably pissed it’s CD format and not vinyl.   Bizarro World, @Bellosh? You betcha. We’ve been in it since vinyl came back.

Maybe that's another good way to show people this is just a lazy reissue.

I mean it's not like they're going to beat Disney's new Indy set so why bother really?

I think we’re all actually looking at this situation the wrong way. Hear me out.

First, Disney, knowing that they’re responsible for releasing likely the last OST of a great and popular composer’s career, offers the album for sale for approximately 20 minutes on some dark corner of the web instead of allowing preorders on Amazon where it could be gauged what the demand would be. Then they manage to piss off literally everyone interested in the OST—even those who managed to order it—by repeatedly delaying the ship date, encouraging the secondary market extortion of desperate CD completists, and sporadically making additional copies available for sale in a sick game of online retail whack-a-mole that’s been going on for four months now.

After all this, you’d think there’d be nothing left Disney could do to insult and antagonize the devoted CD collecting crowd, but now they spring this “complete” box set of scores of us at a ridiculous price, tempting collectors who missed out on the DoD CD to basically pay 5x the money to get the one disc they actually want.

You gotta admire the sociopathic genius behind it all.

Incredibly disappointing as usual . I wonder how many times they'll re-package the SW and Indy OSTs until we get proper expansions. Even the Concord box set is better than this with more music

At least we got the Iso score for Indy 5 which is a rare and great victory for JWfans

if anything this makes me want to buy ALL of LLL's BF releases to support a company that actually gives a damn about their customers rather than Disney just taking a dump in our cereal during maybe the greatest week out of the year for film score fans.

You don't realise what important stuff these people need to do all day, do you? More Marvel for one thing! Now THAT is of cultural significance! Nobody has time to ask MM to do all that work for them.

Is it possible the first four films will at least be “remastered” for this release?

…Or based on the 2018 SW releases, should we hope they won’t be?

And with that, the actual expansions of the Indiana Jones scores produced by Mike Matessino have just been postponed... To 2081!

So the 2008 Indy Concords are the new 1997 SW SEs. We're stuck with them for decades.

How infuriating!!! I find it hard to believe nobody along the chain raised the idea of a box set with complete scores, and now we'll be stuck with this pathetic excuse for a box set for years to come.
