Have you even read at least 30% of the novels or comics in either the old or new canon? If not then that’s a rather meaningless claim

All I know is that the writing quality in a good chunk of the old and new canon I’ve read far exceeds the shows, and I can point towards what those works are if necessary. Even Andor is just on par with some of the old canon stories

I’m going to start coining this argument ‘the tyranny of fun’ because it seems to implicitly assume we all have the same standards for what is fun or enjoyable, whereas for me at least nonsensical storytelling and characters works extremely counter to any feelings of fun. Therefore, an appeal to fun often feels like an excuse to not put together an actual argument for why these elements are good

Luke's Jedi camp was really some of the worst things in the show. Sending a firing training drone after unarmed Grogu and say "Jump!"?
I immediately understood why Ben Solo burned down the camp.

Thing I know from other thing! That makes thing good.
Boba's present timeline is written, staged, directed badly, the new stuff like the scooter kids all suck ass, the action scenes are terrible, everyone's just dumb. The Mando interlude is only there to completely undo most of S2 and its emotional ending immediately.
Obi is full of awful writing, awful dumb characters, awful dull cinematography, awful awful action scenes, awful copypaste repeated plot.

Overall his story arc in the prequels was better than in the sequels. At least it was more consistent.

So I just the received "The River", I'm really happy about it, great music, great sound. However, I believe my copy has a defect, it seems like they printed the 64x64 version of the cover

I really want this 600x600 cover printed, what can I do?

So you can recreate Steven Spielberg recreating his amateur movies as a fictionalised version of himself. That’s meta within meta. Even Christopher Nolan would find that an impressive mind fuck. I approve.

Just for fun, and to drool over, I thought I’d share some theoretical tracklists for JW expansions that don’t yet exist, but hopefully will someday!

We’ve got less information about TROS, so I was more approximate with my timings. Though 226 minutes of music could theoretically fit on 3 CDs, I suspect this could end up stretching to 4 to properly accommodate the context of the various inserts, etc.

At 2:11, Dann Michael Thompson says, "You will hear things you didn't hear before." He is correct. I didn't hear the awkward edits, incorrect performance takes, poor phase alignment, drop-outs, and the absence of a right stereo channel in TESB before listening to these demasters.

He should also have said, "Things you did hear before you will never hear again," since Disney removed the far superior 2016 remasters from digital streaming services worldwide.

This ad makes me want to hear the remastered set but then I remember how much hated them.  Did they even listen to the final mix?  Or perhaps they need to bring in a musician next time and not just audio engineers.  I will say Star Wars sounds good in this ad.
