  1. Personally I think she did a great job on "Hart's War". That trumpet theme is sublime.
  2. Looks and sounds great! Anything by David Arnold these days is truly welcomed.
  3. The Five Man Army by Ennio Morricone. I hadn't spun this one for a while. Wow! it never fails. Such a great score. I had the old 1977 Duse LP and always wished there was more of the main theme. The FSM release certainly cured that. Incredible work.
  4. Pardon me while I adjust my Zimmer frame! Let me see, said he adjusting his spectacles. 1974. My, that was a long time ago. But if I try hard enough to see through the misty corridors of my befuddled mind I think I see THE DOVE and THE MAN WITH THE GOLDEN GUN by Barry, THE TOWERING INFERNO and EARTHQUAKE by Williams, GOLD by Bernstein and PAPILLON and CHINATOWN by Goldsmith. I'm tired now, wake me again in another five years.......
  5. From what I read it's Joe Johnson (Rocketeer) involved.
  6. Be it a thriller or a comedy thriller, Arnold will serve up something good. Looking forward to hearing what he comes up with.
  7. Apparently it's planned but there have been some scheduling problems for director Joe Johnson. Being pushed back to 2024 last I heard.
  8. David's absence from mainstream cinema is sorely missed. I think he's at a stage where he follows projects that interest him and sadly a lot of those are not in film. His colleague Nicholas Dodd is conducting some upcoming films such as Where the Crawdads Sing, Universe's Most Wanted and San Andreas 2. I would love Arnold to have been involved in any or all of those.
  9. 100% agreed my friend. I like a collection I can see not just a USB stick!
  10. Nomads with Pierce Brosnan from 1986. Early John McTiernan movie, a bit strange but intriguing nonetheless.
  11. I do believe he also composed the music for the 1976 TV series "Dickens of London"
