Steffromuk reacted to crumbs in Brad Fiedel - FRIGHT NIGHT (1985) - NEW! 2025 Intrada expansion
Nice cover! I like the detail of the moonlight casting a shadow on the composer credit.

Steffromuk reacted to Yavar Moradi in BLACK SUNDAY - NEW 2025 LLL EDITION
It's a very relentless and linear action score with cool rhythms, basically. I'm not saying it literally sounds like Goldsmith composed it rather than Williams. It has Williams fingerprints all over it, just as with Black Sunday! But many of the elements (in terms of approach) which I enjoy from the majority of Goldsmith's output, I find in these two Williams scores.

Wow, two of the greatest film poster artists of all time passed away within a week of each other.
RIP. The work lives on.

My guess is the page is still being worked on. I'd advice you wait before trying to log in.

Steffromuk reacted to Yavar Moradi in New Jerry Goldsmith PREMIERE Kickstarter THREEfer from Leigh Phillips: PURSUIT (1972), CRAWLSPACE (1972), and THE PEOPLE NEXT DOOR (1968)
It's been such a long time in editing, but the new Production Report with Leigh Phillips about his new recordings of Pursuit, Crawlspace, and The People Next Door has just been released:
https://goldsmithodyssey.buzzsprout.com/159614/episodes/17937025-production-report-pursuit-the-people-next-door-crawlspace-2024-leigh-phillips-recordings
We recorded all the way back in January, just one day after my old friend John Morgan sadly passed away. It was fresh in my mind and I couldn't help but dedicate the podcast episode to him, especially since Leigh Phillips had a bit of project overlap, stepping in for the Intrada's Douglass Fake on John's final album, the Abbott & Costello twofer. But my brief remembrance and dedication, thanks to the support of Leigh and my cohosts, turned into a half-hour tribute to John. It's right at the very beginning of our conversation. My thanks to folks for their patience, if they're eager to get to the Goldsmith-centric conversation, but John was such a good friend and I still miss him terribly. I’m really happy with how the tribute turned out.

Steffromuk reacted to 1977 in Soundtracks, Compilations, or other recently purchased Music
Could I just say that @Steffromuk has truly elevated the standard of Intrada's artwork (so much so that I have to restrain myself from ordering First Blood and YSH just for the spectacular covers).

I recently updated an old blog post on TRON: Legacy, revised existing covers (now in sizes up to 3000px), and also designed a few brand new ones, such as these:

Steffromuk reacted to #SnowyVernalSpringsEternal in JAWS (1975) - 2025 Album Recording Rebuild and Film Recording Remaster by Mike Matessino - Intrada, Mondo, Geffen, Backlot
It finally arrived!
Looks great and the booklet is very interesting.
Can't wait to play this later today.

Steffromuk reacted to David T. in Using AI to manipulate film score audio (dialogue removal, instrument isolation, etc)
Here's Padmé's Visit from "Star Wars - Revenge of the Sith" without SFX. It was made from different edits of the same track from other people. Its not perfect, it has some slight dips here and there in the middle part, but this is the cleanest I've heard it so far.

I've shared some of my covers textless a while back, but what happened is some individuals used them to make their own covers (which I'm fine with) but forgot to credit me and featured them on their portfolio letting people believe they were the author.
Since then, I'm a little hesitant to share textless covers.

Steffromuk got a reaction from Yavar Moradi in Bruce Broughton's YOUNG SHERLOCK HOLMES - NEW! 2025 3CD Intrada Edition
I'd say it really depends on your love for this score. The changes from the previous release set are minor. You won't notice them if you don't pay attention.
But if you're a completist and you want to own the best looking set , go for it.
