  1. The 1:26-1:34 part of First Nuclear Man was definitely quoted by Trevor Jones in Cliffhanger.
  2. Exactly. Especially Jeremy's Theme is vintage Williams. Lacy's Theme sounds perhaps a little bit too cheesy to me , but hey, it's just like Elmo Lewis wrote. Otherwise, it's a great score, definitely it's a gift to finally have it in its gloroius sounding, unabridged Blue Box form. One can't help but marvel at those marching versions of Can You Read My Mind and March of the Villains.
  3. OK, that sounds quite acceptable for Spain. However, in our (and, I daresay, American and many more) carols, sleigh bells are far more common, since their very sound is usually immediately connected with Christmas time.
  4. Actually, that particular instrument is (or are) sleigh bells.
  5. The Hours is an outstanding work of his. I'd like to get to know his non-film work better, which I haven't yet had the chance to do.
  6. Been using Noteworthy Composer for years.
  7. I had to rebuy JW's Greatest Hits 1969-1999, because my girlfriend's father, to whom I lent it, lost it. But, luckily enough, that was the only case. Otherwise, I bought several CDs twice simply because they're so great, several examples are Miles Davis's Kind of Blue, Dream Theater's Metropolis Pt. 2: Scenes From a Memory and JW's Star Wars - A New Hope.
  8. Hell yeah. Nobody beats JW as far as I'm concerned. I even believe that in my lifetime (I'm 26 now), I won't live to see/hear another film music composer rise to the plateau that Williams has achieved.
  9. Well, bless the USA for this, we've never had anything like it in Slovenia. Can anyone describe a little bit more accurately what they were (are) and look(ed) like?
  10. Huh, there are so many ... Really, not showing off, but I can whistle or sing a myriad of them, even play quite a few main themes on piano. Maybe being a musician helps a little.
  11. Psycho. Such great classic ... Uh, Mother, my mother, what is the phrase ... she isn't quite herself today.
  12. Oh yes, I forgot all three Monty Python movies, especially Holy Grail.
  13. In the poll, HP gets my vote. Aside from that, it's Star Wars, 007, LotR, Superman and Indiana Jones.
  14. It's immediately after 007 arrives in Cortina and takes a cable car up to Tofana, where he meets Ferrara.
  15. Actually, I think it's You all know me. Know how I earn a living.
  16. Too bad for all those Michael Jackson diehards out there.
