  1. Star Trek VI and Hook on tap for today. They deserve a few more listens before the new releases come out.
  2. Dave Barry's History of the New Millenium (So Far) by Dave Barry. A humurious look at modern history. I've been reading a lot of non-fiction books recently.
  3. I plan on pairing this with Star Trek VI and Batman Forever to get the $1 shipping from MovieMusic.
  4. I started watching ER again. Just finished season 1, 14 more to go. It is possibly the best drama of the 90s.
  5. Odd question. I can only think of one set that I actually 'treasure.' My uncle gave me the Star Wars Anthology set for Christmas when it first came out. I remember I spent the morning listening to discs 3 & 4 with my grandfather. None of my other cds have those kind of feelings attached to them.
  6. I can't wait for this one. Star Trek VI is my favorite Trek movie. I havent made an order in awhile, I should be able to find 2 other scores to bundle with this for the $1 shipping from MovieMusic.
  7. Star Trek Memories by William Shatner. William Shatner's memories from the tv show. Most of this stuff I did not know. I've only watched TOS once thru. This book makes me want to re-visit the series.
  8. Star Trek Movie Memories by William Shatner. Any Star Trek likely knows all the insight that is in this book. However, there are a few interesting things that I did not know until reading it.
  9. About A Boy by Nick Hornby Hornby is by far my favorite author. This was the second time I've read this book. If you are a fan of any of his books, you should read them all. I can imagine that I will be reading this book again in the future.
  10. Being a huge Star Wars fan, I loved the ride this trip. As the years go by I might get tired of it. Hopefully I can still get down there every year and be able to find if my opinion changes.
  11. I rode it 12 times during my week at WDW. I really enjoyed the ride. The variety and different ride combinations kept me coming back for more. Its a huge upgrade over the original. I would only ride the original once per trip.
  12. I Hope They Serve Beer In Hell by Tucker Max. I had heard of this book for awhile so I finally read it. The guy is a complete tool bag but he seems to have fun. I would hang out with him for a night.
  13. I will be on this ride Wednesday! I'm going to try and count how many times I go on the ride over the 10 days that I will be in WDW.
  14. I'm proud of myself for reading that many books. At the beginning of the year I read about 15 books in two months. My work schedule was very conducive to reading and I took advantage of it. My mom had always been a big reader so I started taking her to the book store with me on Saturdays. Pretty soon it became a competition to see who could read more. She finished the year with 52, beating me by 1. She is not going to read tomorrow so she can finish a book on New Years Day morning and take the early lead on me. I dont like to lose, but this is more than a competition. It is just a great way to keep reading. Reading is the best way to keep your mind active.
  15. I started listening to Kevin Smith's podcasts so I went back and watched some of his View Askew movies. I watched 4 of his movies in 2 days. I watched them in this order, I should have planned out an order first: Mallrats, Chasing Amy, Clerks, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back. I had been a fan of Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back ever since it came out. I didnt realize how much that movie referenced his other movies. I now appreciate his movies even more and all the movies in the View Askewverse need to be watched in order every time I watch them.
  16. I kept track of all the books I've read this year and my total came to 51. I think I did pretty good. Lets see what I can do next year.
  17. I Love You, Beth Cooper by Larry Doyle. Enjoyable last night of high school story. The movie was pretty much the same.
  18. Goes on sale right before I go on vacation. It will be nice to have this waiting for me when I get back.
  19. Why We Suck: A Feel Good Guide to Staying Fat, Loud, Lazy and Stupid by Dr. Denis Leary A funny book, I flew thru it in a day and a half.
