I own the officially released 1CD soundtrack. Just now I noticed there's a 2CD version that was released in 2006 that doesn't add anything new besides some demos and pop act covers. My question is if there's a complete score that's been circulated (I assume there is) and what the tracklist is on that? And to add to that, would there happen to be websites with info/database of the tracklists of unofficially released complete scores?

I like utilizers of commodious and nubilous language, you can very facilely determine that they are flipping through a thesaurus as they type.
It's how you weed out the wise from the clueless.
That you somehow found my straightforward, if descriptive, vocabulary demanding and affectedly florid speaks more of your fluency than of my language. And yet I would never intimate you as clueless.

I most certainly used the search engine before inquiring. Although the search engine spit out no results for me--at least not with the keywords I used.

Can anyone explain what "adapting" means though? I had been under the assumption it meant something similar to arranging.

Hi everyone. I'd like to ask what exactly did William Ross do in Harry Potter the Chamber of Secrets soundtrack? It says he "adapted" John Williams' score but I don't understand what "adapting" entails exactly.
According to the Wikipedia entry:
"Because of scheduling commitments Williams was concerned he would not be able to deliver the complete score.He therefore asked composer William Ross to finish the score, if need be, adapting Williams' themes. Ultimately Williams composed most (if not all) of the score, though Ross conducted the scoring session and retained "adaptation" credit."

Just read the news bit ( http://www.jwfan.com/index.php?option=com_...78&Itemid=1 ) on this on the front page and wondering if Williams is involved in the the new "concert arrangements and suites" in any way?
And does the other 2 Silva releases (the 1 and 2disc) mentioned in the article have any new Potter songs?
