Maria Travia is Morricone's wife, and the partner of a lifetime. She collaborated with him by writing the lyrics to a number of his scores (e.g. the Latin text for The Mission). And quite often, Morricone asked her opinions about his cues before submitting them to the directors. As far as I know, she doesn't have a musical education, so the reasons for crediting her as co-composer might have been extra-musical.

He wrote additional music for The Sum of All Fears according to the Library of Congress website. Jon Broxton's review of When The Game Stands Tall says he orchestrated Amistad and The Lost World, though I don't know where he got that information.

No, he recently produced "The 1701 Collection" for LLL with Neil S. Bulk and Jeff Bond, for example.

Davis is credited for additional music for Die Hard 2 in GEMA, so, yes, it's official.
