  1. Our opinions have nothing to do whith something "we couldn't see", but with the fact that we are different from each other. I find this comment completely unnecessary and disrespectful.
  2. Actually there are only two real sources: VARIETY and COMING ATTRACTIONS. They seem pretty reliable, but I don't see it as an official confirmation either.
  3. I think now we all know the real source for the 'upcoming 2-CD set'. I guess we don't need to promote those bootlegers anymore. Thanks in advance
  4. We do not use that language on this message board. Thanks.
  5. No, it isn't. And part of the music from the first trailer is, in fact, from Sumerman-The Movie (Leaving Home)
  6. You're right! Thanks for being so eloquent!
  7. 'Special Edition' IS part of the title of the 1980 version of CE3K. That's not an opinion, it's a FACT. And I don't use 'Star Wars' for Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope. Just for the movie that was released in 1977. That's all
  8. My point being that the movie that was released 25 years ago was called STAR WARS. I don't know if others like using that name out of nostalgia. I call STAR WARS to the film released on May 25, 1977 because that was the title of the movie when it was released. The same way I call Close Encounters of the Third Kind - Special Edition to the 1980 version, while most people just called it Close Encounters of the Third Kind troughout the years. I always try to respect the original release title when we are referring to an original release. That's all
  9. I never said we can't have a new title. I totally agree with it. I'm just saying that the movie released on May 25, 1977 was called STAR WARS. That's all
  10. It's just that the title of movie that premiered 25 years ago was STAR WARS. That's all.
  11. This has nothing to do with flexibility. And perhaps you are too young
  12. Not really. But I don't think they're appropiate for a place like this (not from my perspective, but from the VISITORS' perspective).
  13. Morn, I hate to say this, but nicknames containing insults are not are not allowed here. I'm sure you wouldn't be happy if someone posted as 'MornisaMoron'. Another example that comes to mind is 'Foreigners are Stupid'. That nickname was allowed on the FSM board, but it would be immediately deleted here.
  14. There IS a 2LP set of TPM. It contains the exact same music as the original CD released by Sony in May 1999. And I'm 99% sure they have NOT released an AOTC vinyl (yet)
  15. Personally I like it a lot. And it contains a great arrangement of the Temple of Doom Suite
  16. Are you 100% sure that it was Williams' music?
  17. The third recording was first released in 1992 as part of a CD called 'Big Screen Adventure', then re-released in 1995 as 'John Williams: Greatest Action Hits'. The CD contains suites from Indiana Jones, E.T., Superman and the Star Wars Trilogy. The music was performed by the London Symphony Orchestra conducted by Roy Budd. Not as good as the Gerhardt version, but better than the City of Prague. Here's a link to the Amazon page for the 1995 release, plus the complete track listing: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00...QFE/jwfancom-20 1. "RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK/INDIANA JONES" SUITE 2. "E.T." SUITE 3. "SUPERMAN" SUITE (i) March of the Villains (ii) Can You Read My Mind (Love Theme) (iii) Main Theme 4. "STAR WARS TRILOGY" SUITE (i) Main Theme (ii) Princess Leia's Theme (iii) Imperial March (iv) Yoda's Theme (v) Han Solo and the Princess (vi) Parade of the Ewoks
  18. Williams wrote a concert version of 'Han Solo and the Princess' as part of the 5-movement suite of TESB. There are three recordings available of that concert arrangement, none of them conducted by Williams. And no, it was never released on single.
  19. For non-registered users the time zone is US EST, but members can set their own time in their profile.
  20. LOL Andreas posted his message while I was looking for the quote LOL
  21. You mean this? ""I don't understand out of space, I'm too much of a terrestrial creature" - Miklos Rozsa when asked if he wanted to score Star Wars."
