  1. If only we had a dime for every time Debney uttered the phrase 'very funny' in there
  2. Yeah, we always take an actor at their word. I wouldn't be surprised if he's not in it though. Technically, he could have filmed something which was then cut, and he wouldn't actually be lying.
  3. I'm bummed they didn't keep this, but a bit more bummed that Williams chose to follow the film edit in the OST track. This just flows so much better musically than the final version in the film.
  4. Dialogue snippets: "Max, you're what the Japanese call 'Munō'" "Max, you are such a plague!" "There are 9 people in this house and the only one who causes problems." "Look what you did, you tiny moron."
  5. I think Home Alone 2 can be fun in a way, if you look past the fact that the characters make pretty much the same mistakes as the first film and beyond that, the story beats are practically identical. The pranks are pretty funny, which - let's be fair, that's why anybody watches the film. It got old from the third film onwards, and they tried to rectify that by making things even more absurd.
  6. Buzz: The Stage Musical Miami Buzz New York Buzz
  7. I'd make a 'passing the torch' joke here, but I unintentionally made one already
  8. That's Officer McCallister to you! The trailer looks like a rehash of the first film. You half expect Kevin to turn up at one point and hand over the blowtorch he used on harry to the new kid or something. EDIT: Yep, Kevin will cameo too. Source.
  9. Reviews have started to come in. https://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/ghostbusters_afterlife
  10. I'm still gutted he fell ill last time he came to London. That was my first concert.
  11. Interesting, because I remember hearing complaints that Carnage was too big and he had white teeth and a tongue. Small details upset fanatics. Having said that, Carnage has had all three of those things, at the same time I might mention, so... 🤷‍♂️
  12. It was a smart move to ditch the material from the previous film and start anew.
  13. It's not even a matter of rights at this point, is it? They own all the music rights at this point.
  14. With 50+ reviews so far, it seems the film currently has a 74% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes. By this time, the previous film was already sitting around 30%.
  15. Listening to the score, it's definitely better than the last one, though it still comes across as 'superhero generic'.
  16. I thought it was common knowledge that he 'chased the cut' during scoring given Abrams was editing and re-editing the film during that period.
  17. Indeed it is! Now, if you'll all line up in single file, you will each receive a bat with which to beat this dead horse with.
  18. You know I didn't bump this thread, right? I literally took the piss out of the post that did. And for a single word response, no less.
  19. Reading Iger's words, it's implied it was his call to ditch Lucas' pitch and plan anyway.
  20. The green went at the end of Revolutions, so I would agree that it's intentional.
  21. Bumped for amazing, in-depth theatrical analysis indeed, the likes of which have never been witnessed before!
