I liked it, but there was a bit of space on each to squeeze in some other themes. For instance, Williams could have squeezed Droid Fight into TPM. Or, for that matter, he could have squeezed in some other Battle for Naboo cues, even hacked back a bit, they would have helped.

no that one is free.. well at least it was when I used it. but it has been months Ah, yes, you're right. Now, how do I find lordskylark?
-
Long ago there was an FTP with most of this stuff, but the FTP went down. Now lordskylark uses SoulSeek, which you have to pay for to download.

What, us before any sort of sustaining career? I'm on the line here.

I can't, I'm afraid, I have no cable, and what's more, the places I could have got them were supplied by Woolworths, who went bust last December.

I played the XBox360 game again, I noticed during the Empirical mission, when you get to the Purge Trooper, the ending of "Confrontation With Dooku" from AotC plays (minus final hit as it suddenly transitions into the "Enter Lord Vader" mix). There is also a more complete rendition of the ending to "Fighting with Grievous" that plays when you are in the Bespin Cantina level. I have yet to get further than that, though I'm sure I heard more somewhere else. Somebody remarked that it was odd that the TPM files being used were not the same ones that were butchered for the UE. I heard that these mixes are the rough mixes Shawn Murphy made in 1999 for the TPM game, and LucasArts have used them since, not needing to switch. Still, there are discrepancies - the third version of "Take to Your Ships" in BF2 and a clean UE opening to "War Plans" found in TFU.

The Mummy vs. The Phantom Menace, the battle of 1999 scores.

Tough, very tough one, but I'll go with TPM. -
Eh, I found that Anakin is Free loop after ripping the Revenge of the Sith Game, there was that material in the game without the loop. It sounded the same so it's probably the same take. Has anybody figured out where to place "Alternate" to Anakin's Test? What other material did you find in the PS3 TFU? There were only four tracks in the download, but I'm guessing there might be more.
-
Out of curiosity, did you notice that Jesse Harlin layered the solo timp roll from "Death of Dooku" as a transition, even over TPM and AotC music in some games? he uses it more in TFU!

It says "User has disabled receiving PMS. PM not sent.". I'm working on a list of stuff missed from the original edit (Henry left a few loops at the beginning of some tracks, mainly loops of the opening measures of "Anakin is Free" and "Anakin's Test"). Here's my TFU track list:
-
As I remember it, "Rebel Batte" or "Redemption 2" was played in the first stage of the Vader/Starkiller duel. I'm not sure about the first part of Infiltrating The Junk Temple, it seems elements layered into it are done so differently on the promo and in the game. Also that bit of TFU Unknown with the small fragment of "Heroes Collide" is part of Infiltrating the Junk Temple - you hear it in the promo.

And for Episode II and III material he insists on using the film-version material, not the original material, making editing harder. Plans for the Twins is available clean, as I understand it, from the German DVD, and Padme's Funeral can be made clean by combining said DVD rip with TFU material. Padme's Funeral is almost clean, but not entirely - you can hear the sounds of footsteps, clothing, and atmosphere, as well as some gentle murmuring, in the mix with the music. It is, however, entirely listenable, imho. Yeah, but for now that's good enough for me. It's not as though there are battle sounds, and the footsteps and atmosphere is very minimal. So it works for me.
-
Eh, wasn't he the music editor for BF2? He did the same. In fact, he was quite keen on placing the percussion from "Take To Your Ships" over certain pieces.

No, that track is pitch altered in Yoda Strikes Back. I saw a cue list, with "Homestead", followed by "Homestead Film Version".
-
There's an alternate of the Homestead segment in the film, apparently.
-
Well, I only have half the material for TPM so it will be a while before I can get that back. AotC and RotS I have actually just about completed. Curiosity question - what's the difference between the two versions of "Tusken Camp and Homestead"?
-
It's not inactivity that MegaUpload deletes files for. It's usually copyright issues.
-
Yeah, I use it a lot, it's fairly reliable, if not prone to wipes sometimes.
-
Perhaps somebody could set up a separate forum.
-
There was a small bit in it that is not anywhere else. Perhaps it might even be a missing bit of "Chase Through Coruscant" - even so, if we had the complete film version, we would have some more of the "Captured" segment (although the ending is wrong in the film - TFU cuts it off), and some of the unedited "Yoda Strikes Back" cue.
-
I look forward to the stuff they use in Battlefront III. I hope for complete renditions of Duel of the Fates Instrumental, Conveyor Belt and Heroes Collide. Henry, how's the new list coming along?
-
This actually belongs to the "Captured" segment of the Conveyor Belt, you can hear it fade out as the ending of "New Authority" kicks in. All the music in the sequence you have here is tracked, not just "Arrival at Coruscant TPM" and "War Plans".
-
I thought that "Imperial Battle" sort-of matched "Maris and the Bull Rancor". I think each cue was recorded in bits, the promo being a selection of those bits. I've started posting beta mvs of what I am doing on my YouTube account (under the same name I use here)

I'm a 'complete freak', I just can't help myself. The set is made so that I keep as much alternative takes as I can on separate discs/folders, to help keep the 'listening experience killer' effect down to a minimum. BTW, "New Space Action" in TFU is unreleased "Redemption". I'm figuring out the music to TFU right now, I might post edit instructions once I'm done.
