  1. I apologize but I haven’t been following this as close as most. Is there anything that was recorded that’s not included on the deluxe edition? Speaking for myself, with all the reissues the that have been going on, or titles being expanded, I’m just removing and replacing lately. Haven’t bought new shelving in 10 years or so
  2. Yes, that’s where I heard / saw the premier of Yoda’s Theme and the Imperial March. I think I have have one of the Christmas concerts recorded on vhs somewhere, but that may have been one of the major networks.
  3. I’m content with the first deluxe release. It fits fine on my shelf.
  4. Or that’s how the cue sheet was titled or they may have been contractually obligated to include that. if I wanted a chuckle I would say they did it as s snarky response to film score fans who complain about the choir missing from certain releases. 😉 Total Recall may be one of the greatest action scores of a time but it’s no Air Force One. 😉
  5. I can’t believe it’s been 10 years since the film was released.
  6. I still say we get the announcement that Johnson’s trilogy is cancelled at some point. You’re thinking of Snyder, Nolan and the DCEU.
  7. I grabbed Rooster Cogburn, I forgot Rosenthal scores it, waiting on Bride to be released. The only other title I snagged was the Mancini one.
  8. I already have 2 copies so I’ll pass on this one.
  9. That’s the 2nd oldest cd I have in my collection. I’ve have it for almost 32 years.
  10. If you don’t have this album, I highly recommend it. It has the Cowboys suite.
  11. @Jaywe must overreact and misinterpret. It’s a long standing tradition that has been a part of film music fandom ever since these releases started.
  12. Air Force One! US Marshalls!!! Goldsmith! Goldsmith! Goldsmith!!!!!
  13. It was a bit jarring to hear a different rendition of Poe’s theme. Some of the pieces sounded a bit sluggish. I think it lacked some of the energy the Cincinnati Pops recordings had under Kunzel’s conducting. But overall a nice album.
  14. I still don’t know what the hell happened in the second hour of the film. It went from having a touch of Spielberg’s influence during the first hour to an all out cgi crapfest. Yeah it felt and looked like Justice League, rushed and the CGI was too cartoonish.
