Very disappointed Naoki Sato’s Godzilla Minus One is not on that list.
DOD is one of Williams weaker efforts and really not Oscar worthy. Sometimes I feel he’s nominated as an apology for past scores that deserved an Oscar but didn’t win.

I first saw an advertisement for this in the USA TODAY entertainment section, which was one of my favorite newspapers to read. Unfortunately it was very vague and I just figured it would be the 3 original soundtracks packaged together.
However I did mark the date down and went to a mall the day it was released, I believe it was Camelot Music. And they had it upfront with the newest releases. My heart stopped when I read the packaging. Needless to say I grabbed a copy.
I still have mine, and I had John Williams sign the booklet for me.
