After watching Minus One this looks…. Well it looks bad…. Apparently Godzilla went on a slim fast diet.
 
Each film has gotten a bit worse since the 2014 film.

Wow that trailer is absolutely horrible 😂 

I swear, they make Godzilla move faster with each film.
 
Also, as I have an affinity with the KOTM design, I do not like what they've done to Godzilla.
 

 
EDIT: I'm seeing people saying 'this is Showa as hell'. So... was the Monsterverse supposed to be grounded in realism, or not? I feel like the whole thing has become tonally confused.

I've gotten shipments from both No. 2 and 3. I think No. 1 is just a lazy bum. He's outside smoking while the others do all the work.

I listened to the score during a walk this morning.
 
Maybe it had to do with the headspace I was in, but this really hit me. It actually made me really emotional. I think it's an incredible score.
 
I'm a big fan of Giacchino. For me it doesn't matter if he does big blockbusters or smaller films, I like almost anything he does. I really waited to hear anything of the score until the album was released and I'm glad I did.
 
I feel this is a score which is very good in it's restraint. There are some grander moments earlier in the score, but what I appreciate is that it paints the picture of being stranded in the middle of nowhere. There are some beautiful passages for piano, strings and percussion. The theme that runs through the score is beautiful and in the last six tracks cements itself as one of Giacchino's most beautiful.
 
It's on those final six cues that Giacchino's music explodes. You have the sadness in "Numa Accepts His Place" than the anticipation and power of "Andes Ascent" & "Onward" with the choir and percussion.
Then "Found" and "Home" are just so beautiful. I eslecially love the guitar in "Found".
 
I love this score! Can't wait to hear it in context.

Once again it didn't feel real until I actually saw and held it as a three dimensional object. So much work went into this with so many people involved. It's taken years but here it is!

I can't emphasize strongly enough that listeners should enjoy the crafted album experience of Disc 3 as we've presented it. I'm so thrilled this can finally be shared.
