I agree, not really impressed. Reminiscence Therapy is a jarring listen and sounds like a greatest hits cue. The “Hear we come” section isn’t very good. 
 
It it jumps back and forth between Powell’s style and Williams. The Solo theme is ok but pales in comparison to Rey’s. 
 
Im in the Rogue One camp, much better score.

I love it too. It's not for all audiences, it's for fans, and particulary UE fans.
Bring back Maul at the end is AWESOME, Kennedy put the balls on the table.

I don't worship Giacchino, I love quite a few of his scores, but I don't think I'd find a 'Giacchino Worshipping Corner' to my tastes either. 
 
I shouldn't have to preface this with my declaration for my love of this place, this forum and the people in it. I frequent this place and have had great times reading through threads and learning interesting things here and there. It's just a common occurrence that's got on my nerves that all too often it's a bitchfest (usually concentrated at Giacchino) and a place to slag off composers and say it as if it's a universal truth. 
 
 
 
 

I always feel like it's a concentrated and concerted effort to espouse the views that Giacchino is the Anti-Christ - even in this resurrected thread for Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire!
 
I think I'm finally beginning to understand how Zimmer's supporters here feel with the constant slagging.

I would go even farther and say all of the Christmas songs Williams wrote for Home Alone ,to include Merry Christmas, Merry Christmas from HA2, are just as good as most of the traditional carols.

I just found it to be boring with a few poorly written character arcs and several new characters that were useless.
 
The story wasn’t very compelling at all.
